Agreed. If he wanted to be anywhere else, he would be. “His daughter’s schooling” wouldn’t matter. There are elite schools everywhere. If there was any doubt about what he was doing staying in D.C., that had to have been removed when he decided to shadow Trump on his overseas trip.
There really should be. I think the most of the country could get behind a Constitutional amendment for that, if need be. As well as a law or amendment barring a former President’s spouse from being President. Although maybe if Democrats want to keep doing that, we should let them.

I don’t see his daughter’s schooling being reason enough for him to stay in Washington. I think he’d be elsewhere with his family if it suited his next goals.
