While I agree with your overall sentiment, can you PLEASE not blame Disney for the title choice for Captain America: The First Avenger when releasing it to foreign markets? That movie was made before Disney purchased Marvel, so Disney had absolutely no involvement in the making of that film, let alone the naming of the film’s title. That blame falls squarely on Marvel.
You can blame Disney for any left wing politics it’s been promoting since the early 1990s up to the present day, but don’t blame them for The First Avenger’s foreign title, because they had no involvement. And this is speaking as someone who outright hates what Eisner, Iger, Lasseter, and Katzenberg did to Disney starting in 1991.

I know. They REALLY ruined Alex Danvers there [I expected Maggie Sawyer to be a lesbian since, let’s face it, she was one in the comics, but them turning Alex into one of them was just... ugh... and having her and Maggie actually date and even get married just made things worse. And honestly, this is the SECOND time I ended up quitting a show due to their needlessly changing a character’s sexual orientation, the first time being Heroes when they decided to make Claire Bennet into a lesbian, or at the very least bisexual, in the Redemption arc.].
That’s also why I don’t plan to watch next season at all, or at most just catching the tail opening just to find out who that Kryptonian in the teaser for next season is supposed to be. That, and the countless anti-Trump digs, with the absolute worst of them being in the penultimate episode of the season where they had Cat Grant actually paraphrase Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan and attribute it to the Daxamite invaders when giving her rousing speech to the people of Central City, essentially implying that Queen Rhea and the Daxamites are President Trump, despite the fact that Rhea and the Daxamites’ overall methods for taking over the planet and their motives for doing so were in fact a lot closer to the illegal immigrants that Trump is trying to have deported than to Trump himself.
Even ignoring the whole heavy-handed politics and needless social elements being preached in this season, however, the whole thing was a complete mess in terms of writing. We never got any follow ups on General Lane and Maxwell Lord’s business deal involving the Omegahedron that they showed in the finale for the first season (in fact, the only bit they DID follow up on was the bit with Mon-El’s pod arriving on the planet), not to mention that, even in the second season, they really screwed up with handling President Marsden being an alien, as we got literally no leads to Marsden being an alien since they first teased it in her debut appearance until the season was nearly over. Compare that to the first season with Martian Manhunter, where when they first hinted that he wasn’t human, they actually built up to the reveal to the midway of the season. Oh, and their also having Winn relocated to the DEO from CatCo for absolutely no reason and actually revealing a completely separate DEO building that, as Supergirl and Alex pointed out, hadn’t even been alluded to in the previous season. They should never have moved Supergirl to the CW, which was so left-wing it makes CBS look like FOX News by comparison, I’m not kidding. Such a shame, as that show truly had potential.

Chris Evans seems to think he is something other than an easy replacable dimbulb pretty boy who got a job because he looked enough like a comic book character. I predict in about 10 years (less if he loses the Marvel gig) he’ll be lucky to be working in a CBS procedural.
I remember seeing this chick in an ad for Captain Morgan’s rum years ago. She was pretty enough that I googled to find out her name, wasn’t surprised she was Israeli. Years later she’s suddenly a movie star. I don’t know if she can actually act but damn.

Is there any difference? Gross either way seeing either 2 men or 2 women acting like heterosexuals. And as they are less than 2% of the population, I don’t appreciate them or their demands. Stay in your closet.
A bit of an addition: What’s even more sad (and ironic in the most unfortunate way) about this whole thing is that Alex Danvers’ actress, Chyler Leigh, is married to Nathan West and a mother of three, and is devoted enough to the Christian religion that she said it gives her and her husband meaning in life (meaning she and West probably would not support that kind of lifestyle if they take the religion as seriously as their comments imply). Seems like Leigh and West are going to have some difficult discussions with their kids about Alex’s... joining another team, to put it simply. I realize that when put into an acting role, the actors/actresses rarely have any real choice in how they’re supposed to act (I know an actress, Brooke Anne Smith, who indicated such was the case, and she loves acting), but even still...
