Trump’s personal attorney now included in congressional Russia probes

Two congressional investigations into Russia’s attempts to tamper with the 2016 presidential election have expanded to include President Donald Trump’s personal attorney.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s attorney and surrogate, confirmed to ABC News that the House and Senate intelligence committees requested he provide investigators with “information and testimony” regarding any contacts he had with Russian officials.

Cohen said in an email to the news outlet that he refused the committees’ requests on the grounds that they were “poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered.”

Last week, the leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee received broad subpoena power to conduct the committee’s Russia investigation.

The Russia/Russia bs is just a rat and rino distraction from the real meddlers and real interfering evil scum of our elections. The Mexican Government, their illegals here, the rat politicians, and our Rino’s, who want them for their cheap labor and votes, are the real meddlers in our election, not Russia! Mexico has been interfering in our elections since LBJ!

Illegals and their liberal supporters threatening Texas legislators for daring to uphold our laws re immigration in the Gallery @ the Texas Legislature Building.

How many millions of $’s/Pesos has Mexico donated to the democrats to keep their illegals in America, since LBJ?

How much money did Obama and Clinton receive personally and for their elections?

How many illegal Mexicans voted for Illiarily in the last election and for Obama's two terms?

How many illegal Mexicans voted for rats in our cities, counties, states and of course at our federal level?

How many Hispanic tv channels do we have on Comcast, Direct TV, Dish TV and other tv providers, that we pay for and don’t speak Spanish? Who owns those Spanish only channels? Why do we have to pay for Spanish TV channels/stations, when we don’t speak Spanish?

Who owns the NY Slimes and other election meddling companies?

It is past time for our Congress to stop the Mexican meddling/interference/hacking at every level in America.

How many millions of $’s has Mexico donated to the democrats to keep their illegals here, at every level, city, county, state and Federal level?

Again, the Russia/Russia bs is just a rat and rino distraction from the real meddlers and real interfering evil scum of our elections. The Mexican Government, their illegals here, the rat politicians, and our Rino’s, who want them for their cheap labor and votes, are the real meddlers in our election, not Russia!

Time to enforce our standing laws against illegal immigration and illegals voting!

Ridiculous. At what point can you say “Show me the evidence or shut up”? At which they’d probably say “We’ll let you know when we get the evidence”, which means never. And even if they somehow acquired fake evidence, no laws have been broken. It’s indeed a farce.

Now, having found no actual crime, the Deep State wants to create a process crime. Answer a question incompletely, miss a comma; boom you've committed perjury.

Russia is s fake enemy, and having a contact with a Russian official is not per se illegal; so why should he have to comply with this useless fishing investigation?

They’re trying to deny him an attorney. Exactly what the Hildebeast tried to do to Nixon but didn’t get away with it.

It is not wrong to have contacts with foreign countries. It isn’t illegal.

And for banks to find connections is a ridiculous standard. Of course banks are connected. They’re connected to all of us by just one to three degrees of separation.

I can probably be connected with Russia using any of Russia’s banks, my banks, and my using my banks and my bank being internationally connected.

Or insurance companies, or investment firms....it’s such an obvious effort at smearing someone.

He should refuse to cooperate on grounds there is a special investigator.

Good, but they ALL need to cite soecial investigator. That’s the point of having him: he ends all the other investigations.

I think Mueller's charter covers the reason Congress wanted Cohen's records (collusion between Trump campaign and Russian government), but it doesn't cover any other investigation. Congress is poking into the firing of Comey, for example, and Mueller is not.

I liked Cohen's answer. The request is too broad.

"I declined the invitation to participate as the request was poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered," Cohen told The Associated Press. "I find it irresponsible and improper that the request sent to me was leaked by those working on the committee."

"I declined the invitation to participate, as the request was poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered," Cohen told CNN Tuesday, adding that he considered it a "total fishing expedition."

"They have yet to produce one single piece of credible evidence that would corroborate the Russia narrative," Cohen said. He called the investigation a "rush to judgment."

It is clear that these are the sort of “high crimes and misdemeanors” mentioned in the constitution. A president may be impeached; a legislator may be removed.

Why are the Stupid Party legislators not moving forward with procedures to remove these vile traitors?

They work constantly to deceive the people, make accusations that they know to be false, and agitate for the reversal of a valid election. To accomplish these scoundrels’ errands, they loot the treasury.

Is that not cause enough?

So the congressional “investigation” needs to interview his pets and anyone who ever worked for him or who knows him in order to be thorough. What a bunch of partisan seditious clods. “Leaders” aren’t supposed to be nitwit idiot losers are they???
