White House Communications Director Mike Dubke is out, CBS News has confirmed.

Dubke has no attachment to Mr. Trump and has always been something of an outsider. He's not a Trump loyalist and did not work for the campaign.

Word is that Mike submitted his resignation before President Trump went on his foreign trip. He was asked to stay on until President Trump got back. That is exactly what happened and now that President Trump is back he has left.

He (McCain) does stupid things

I don't mind stupid things. What I mind is dangerous things. Is there any refutation that he worked with hillary in getting weapons to "friendly Syrian rebels" some of whom are ISIS affiliated? I really hate to think of what McCain is capable of, with his narcissistic, self serving view of the world, and hatred of anything and anyone who gets in his way.

McCain is a has-been and this Administration needs to actively, if quietly, groom an Arizona Conservative to replace him.

Which begs the question; why did he have this seemingly important job in the first place?

I'll bet he had some juice with a REAL Trump Insider/Loyalist. That's how things work in government. All levels. From local to the very top. It's usually not what you know. It's WHO you know. Or in Monica Lewinsky's case, who you BL...

“Supposedly Reince Priebus is out.”

I don’t understand why he was ever in.

Does our President fail to understand that those crumb-bums are evil? Does he still think they’re good Americans with whom he has philosophical disagreements?

“Incompetent GOPe hack who never should have had the job in the first place.”

should have been fired on day one, along with a few hundred others.

Trump is giving some a chance to step up, so he will get support for giving them the boot when they don’t.

>> cannot handle failing so miserably where Trump succeeded.

I’m not so sure about that part. In 2008, it looked to me like he deliberately sabotaged his own campaign and was TRYING to lose. So while he probably does resent Trump for being President, an office he could never hold, it looks like McLame chose to fail. Either the bribes or the blackmail were irresistible. Or both.

McCain is a never-was who can only aspire to be a has-been.

I agree with both of the above. Also, I think that it would be impossible to fill so many slots with people you know personally. You would have to leave some people in their jobs to keep the place running. Finding and hiring is hard!

Aren’t you at all concerned what kind of maniac stuff McCain would be capable of “to go out in style”? He’s truly a madman who cannot handle failing so miserably where Trump succeeded.

Spiteful McInsane wants to punish America for rejecting him in '08 (even though the only reason he wanted to be President was so he'd finally outrank his Admiral father and Admiral grandfather). That's why he cozies up to terrorists.

He's James Cagney in "White Heat".

"Made it, Ma! Top of the world!"

That's why I say he's an incredibly sick man. This is to the point that he's a danger that he acts out on his anger and inner demons. Does McCain even know he is the main reason for his failure? Perhaps part of the problem is that he now realizes he only has himself to blame, now that Trump has succeeded where he failed.

This whole thing is weirder than any Shakespearean drama about politics and intrigue.

Dubke worked for Karl Rove.

Terrible that he spent ANY time in Trump’s White House.
