Quite apart from that, it looks like a wishful thinking projection job on the part of the Slimes.
Oh and incidentally Jesus forbade Christians to ever worry. The reference to Jewish custom is particularly interesting here, as is the assertion in the Christian biblical book of Hebrews “There is now a Sabbath rest for the people of God.”
So much of Christian faith is well known Jewish ideas carried forward into a new context.
