Disagree with your premise that the media is “caught up in deception”. If so, it’s a deception of their own making.
They not only agree with the deception, they created it and keep it well fed. They and the democrats are the puppet masters. The DNC and the LSM are two peas in the same pod. Fellow travelers. Co-conspirators. Bedfellows.
The only way they could do that nationally is to buy the newsrooms. There is an unverified rumor that George Soros did exactly that. If true, it might explain why we get the national fake news from many outlets all at once.
