An Indian woman who says she was drugged, kidnapped and forced to marry a Pakistani man at gunpoint returned to India on Thursday amid much media fanfare and as tensions between the two South Asian neighbors rise.
Uzma, whose family name cannot be given for legal reasons, said she met the Pakistani national in Malaysia and decided to travel to Pakistan on May 1 after he invited her to visit.
But when she arrived she said the man forced her to sign a marriage contract at gunpoint and that she suffered physical and emotional violence for five days until she managed to go to the Indian High Commision in Islamabad where she was given refuge.

Islamabad huh? What a surprise
When it isn’t first cousin marriage, Islam is about kidnapping and raping.
Well, she only made TWO near-fatal mistakes:
“... she met the Pakistani national in Malaysia and decided to travel to Pakistan ...”
Stupid woman is lucky to even be ALIVE to lament her misadventure.
I guess she just did not understand Islamic romance........
Every woman, including a Muslim woman, who is thinking about dating a Muslim needs to read “An American Bride in Kabul, by Phyllis Chesler.
Was Mario Puzo an author of Islamic Romance novels?
"Leave the gun take the bride. On second thought, take the gun too"
But when she arrived she said the man forced her to sign a marriage contract at gunpoint: "Abdul al-Brasi held a gun to her head, and my father assured her that either her brains or her signature would be on the marriage contract."
And Uzma is a Muslim name if I am not mistaken.
