Explosive Revelation of Obama Administration Illegal Surveillance of Americans
NRO ^ | May 25, 2017 | Andrew C. McCarthy

Posted on 05/25/2017 4:42:30 PM PDT by Cheerio

The NSA intentionally and routinely intercepted communications of American citizens in violation of the Constitution. During the Obama years, the National Security Agency intentionally and routinely intercepted and reviewed communications of American citizens in violation of the Constitution and of court-ordered guidelines implemented pursuant to federal law.

The unlawful surveillance appears to have been a massive abuse of the government’s foreign-intelligence-collection authority, carried out for the purpose of monitoring the communications of Americans in the United States. While aware that it was going on for an extensive period of time, the administration failed to disclose its unlawful surveillance of Americans until late October 2016, when the administration was winding down and the NSA needed to meet a court deadline in order to renew various surveillance authorities under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

Wholesale surveillance is one thing, and a bad thing. But, I’d really like to know exactly what Maxine Waters was talking about when she alluded to Obama’s new, unprecedented, massive database.

OK, but is anyone going to prison over it?

If those hackers can gain access to all your documents and files for ransom, you can be certain that the NSA with its resources can do the same thing without letting you know it has full access too. That would include e-mails, documents you have created and just stored without sending, and everything else.

The only ones they have not kept would be those of the Clintons, Podesta and their associates. Those probably disappeared somewhere.

um, they got it ALL in a database. even encrypted stuff that was captured before encryption. Every one knows. Anyone that they want to control. they have it. location, time said, voice and likely video. I’m talking about, no electronics besides the one sitting in your pocket or the one above. open air stuff. Please read my tag line before offing me. :-)

If you're not resting then you might want to go to Utah and try to stop what's going on at their main data storage facility.

Maybe you can get the locals to vote to shut off their water supply so the computers overheat and self-destruct.

And why isn’t this being investigated? Can we please get an attorney general that has not recused himself from his job! It’s time for Rudy Giuliani whether he wants the job or not.

See Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court Approves New Targeting and Minimization Procedures
Lawfare - May 15, 2017

And take the time to read the April 26, 2017 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court Memorandum and Opinion

Whatever the Obama administration was doing has been waved away, and whatever the Trump administration is doing has the courts blessing.

The decision is loaded with jargon. "Collection," "targeting," and "minimization" are important terms.

I feel the same way.

It’s almost like looking at the weather report anymore. No matter how bad it looks today, by tomorrow it will all be irrelevant.

Maybe the scales have finally fallen from McCarthy’s eyes.

It would be nice if some of these former shills for the surveillance state like McCarthy and Fleitz and others on the right who seem to be awakening to the abuse of our constitutional rights and who know the system from the inside would put their big brains together and find a new system that allows our intel agencies to function but doesn’t make a mockery of the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution and allow corrupt government bureaucrats to dig dirt on political opponents.

Remember that Sean Hannity has been exploring this angle along with the Seth Rich murder. More reasons for the left to get him off the air.

During the Obama years, everything the government did was a violation of the Constitution.

He was never eligible to be President.

Explosive??

Anyone going to jail for violating the Law? Anyone lose their jobs? Slap on the hand?

Instead, we have ‘randy’ Ryan sly-smacking the admin and some ‘body-slam’. Gowdy/Chaffez(sp)/Issa spinning down another white-wash, red-meat-to-the-base, ‘investigation’...

I’ll be surprised, gladly so, should DJ come back and ACTUALLY *FIRE* the leakers (I won’t hold my breath about jail/treason).

Per some recent articles on this subject, the FISA Court warned the Obama Administration about doing mass surveillance late last year.

The warning apparently was not heeded.

Where were Paul Rino and Turtle head McConnell? Oh, that's right too busy passing CRs and handing Obie a blank check on the Debt Ceiling. There is a reason why we call it the Uniparty.

I am sure they have their own water supply

You can bring it closer to home and ask about the easy pass toll electronic machines that are about tracking and not toll taking.

You have to register every vehicle that uses the toll machine. Because it is not about taking money...
