After most terrorist attacks, presidents and world leaders have attempted to use majestic and restrained language, perhaps to seem presidential, to come off as leader-like, to be as unlike the terrorists as possible. A favorite term they all like to use is 'cowardly' - which doesn't seem to deter any of these mass-death attacks. They also like 'callous,' 'absurd' and 'tragic,' passively addressing the attacks themselves. We can already hear the terrorists' gigglings.
President Trump isn't like that. In the wake of the terror attack in Manchester, England, he set the tone from another direction, hurling the personal insult. He called terrorists 'evil losers.' For good measure, he kept it personal, addressing the terrorists themselves, not their handiwork, adding:
"I won't call them monsters because they would like that term. I will call them losers," he said in a speech in Bethlehem.

Netanyahu pulled no punches.

Morning — not just in America, but Around the World.
Mourning.
This is why many of us voted for Trump - no pussy-footing around things.
His straightforwardness makes up for any and all ‘rough edges’ in his style.
Absolutely Correct
I disagree. A silver lining to this horrific attack was that President Trump was standing should to should with Abbas, condemning the horrors of terrorism. Why didn't "Bibi" seize the moment instead of bringing up past grievances?
Does Israel really want ISIS destroyed and Syria stabilized under Assad? Do they want to live in peace or to extend their own boundaries?
This is the moment. Netanyahu should be focused on condemning those that are responsible for this horror.
Thank you for that report. Bibi is probably so happy to have another real man on his side in the fight against these monsters.
Yep.
Bibi DID seize the moment. The palestinian government makes payments to terrorists and their families, TODAY. It's their law and Bibi was right to throw it in their faces.
Bibi needs to get this message across, often and with emphasis. A reminder for some, an eye opener for those who haven’t heard.
I disagree. “Bibi” needs to stand shoulder to shoulder with the leaders of the world and look at this moment and moving forward from here. Think how powerful it would’ve been if Bibi had stood and condemned today’s terrorist attack and look forward to destroying the perpetrators. All sides have grievances. We get that.
DRIVE THEM OUT!" - President Trump speech to Saudi Arabia about jihadists only two days ago.
Look at them from two days ago. He couldn't be happier. Love this pic.
This picture is fake like the one with the Saudis. We were told our president hates Muslims and Jews. /s
The first demand for any talks with Abbas is the cessation of payments to the families of terrorists. Without that no peace is possible.
+1
Again, get past it. Today is the day for ALL world leaders to get past grievances and stand in one voice against the Forces of Evil who represent no civilization. It isn’t about Israel. It’s about the victims in Manchester.
