Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi invited President Trump to Egypt while commenting on his "unique" personality.
"You are a unique personality that is capable of doing the impossible," el-Sissi told Trump during the conversation on Sunday.
"I agree!" Trump responded as everyone laughed.
According to CNN, Trump then complimented el-Sissi's shoes.
"Love your shoes. Boy, those shoes," Trump said.
The two met during Trump's trip to Saudi Arabia his first trip abroad as president.
Aaand....
How did CNN cover this exchange between Trump and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi?
Here is CNN’s headline:
“Trump compliments Egyptian president’s shoes”
http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/21/politics/trump-abdel-fattah-al-sisi-shoes/
CNN quotes Trump.
“Love your shoes. Boy, those shoes. Man ... ,” Trump said, as reporters were being escorted out of the room.
Abu Ivanka.
El-Sissi’s shoes were the same color as the curtains; he was hoping to go unnoticed by Trump.
Enforcing the lie that Trump is a stupid imbecile.
I can’t wait till they all reap what they’ve sown.
I hope it’s terrible, swift, so they don’t know what happened.
They met, but it was not their first meeting, as the article may lead the reader to believe. el-Sissi was one of the first leaders to call and congratulate Trump after the election, met him before the inauguration, and them came to visit in the White House. The author may want people to think Trump is a dork for talking about his shoes, but in reality, President Trump and President el-Sissi seem to be developing not just a working relationship, but a friendship.
Next thing you know will be a “Get Smart” shoe telephone conspiracy theory.

CNN SUCKS
CNN is #FAKENEWS
CNN journalists are #FAKEAMERICANS
Yep.
Where are our patriots?
Who will fight for our President?
Trump knows, if you compliment their shoes, they won’t throw the at you.
Trump was having fun with the Egyptian President because he came in with desert sandals and changed footwear before taking part in the event/s. Trump noticed the change of shoes and mentioned the “nice shoes.” A little funning between the two of them which is a good thing because a more personal relationship is developing between the two leaders which is always good in international relations.
Speaking as someone who owns more than 200 pair of shoes myself, I have complemented others for their shoes.
In fact, I have a friend who has private jet money and he compliments my shoes.
Last year I sported a pair of elephant hide boots and he wanted to know where I got them.
Is it really unbelievable and dorky to pay a compliment?
Imelda! Is that you?
LOL
Just kidding.,.
I love clothes...
I wonder of they had the same exact shoes. It sounds like a guy thing to say when someone has the same clothing. Women will get all pissy but men will say, Hey man, nice flannell short” when it is exactly the same.
WOW, I have never owned more than 6-7 pairs of shoes at one time.... and that’s including hiking boots, ski boots, and ice skates!!
Lol!!!
I hope it's terrible, excruciatingly painful and slooow so they know exactly what is happening..........
Trump is the real deal. He communicates as a human being and not as some kind of plastic leader who is programmed to always spout the party line of his funders. He is a composite of the American people and their dreams for their nation. He represents the real truth about our humanity and the principles of American freedom. Loved his comment about the shoes. That is human and “brotherly.” How desperately we need touches like that. I love this President and I feel anger each and every day when I read and see the falsehood used by those who are trying to take him down. Truth will win out eventually but a lot of suffering may take place before that happens.
