For the Record: Democrats Called For Last 4 GOP Presidents To be Impeache

While the lying mainstream makes it seem that Democrats are onto something with impeachment talk of President Trump, they fail to show that Democrats have called for the impeachment of GOP presidents in ‘81, ’83, ’84, ’91, ’04, ‘05, and ‘07.

Investors Business Daily reported:

The fact that some Democrats are already calling for the impeachment of President Trump is hardly news. What is news is the fact that even some ardent liberals are worried that reflexively jumping on the impeachment bandwagon is folly.

According to a list compiled by CNN, 27 Democrats have so far come out in favor of impeaching Trump. What they don’t provide is context. For 36 years, Democrats have routinely called for impeaching Republican presidents at the drop of a hat.

Here is a sampling:

On May 1, 1981, thousands of protesters marched in Washington to denounce President Reagan’s economic and social policies. The event was billed as ”Days of Resistance to Roll Back Reaganism.” (Sound familiar?) At the event, at least two speakers called for impeaching Reagan.

”Our purpose is to turn this country around,” one said. ”Getting rid of Reagan is the first step.”

In early 1983, Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., said Reagan should be impeached “for incompetence.” Later that year, he called for impeaching Reagan over his military action in Grenada.

Jesse Jackson wanted Reagan impeached in 1984 for mining Nicaragua’s harbors. Texas Rep. Henry Gonzalez and six other Democrats introduced a resolution to impeach Reagan in 1987 over the Iran-Contra affair…

The Democrats skipped Ford, I guess, but every other Republican president in my lifetime has been attacked in this way. Eisenhower wasn’t touched, but Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Bush, Trump — all guilty of the high crime and misdemeanor of being not a Democrat.

“I don’t ever remember it being this pervasive and constant”

That is because President Trump is actually doing what he said he was going to do. In the eyes of Washington that is a no-no.

It’s the same old song, played very loudly.

To an increasingly deaf American populace.

Because some noise just needs to be tuned out.

For the record: The last four five Demonicrat Presidents should have been impeached and convicted in the Senate for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

-- I don't ever remember it being this pervasive and constant --

That's a function of the press coverage. Add in the press as a "voice calling for impeachment," where it used to stifle the urge to participate so openly. Many people, if not most, conflate "frequency of reporting" with "frequency of occurrence." See Summer of the Shark.

Rats will be rats. I’m more concerned about the RINOs calling for it as well. Even the RINOs usually refrain for joining in calls for impeachment.

I've noticed that a lot of prominent Democrats who were calling for Trump's head in recent months seem to have gone totally silent ever since former FBI Director Mueller was named as the special counsel in the "Russiagate" investigation.

That tells me we're seeing one or both of the following scenarios play out:

1. The Democrats never expected the Trump administration to actually appoint a special counsel in this case.

2. Many Democrats are alarmed at the prospect of President Trump leaving office through a resignation or impeachment.

When Nixon was elected, the democrats swore they would bring him down, declared war on him. Their success set their victory template. The Republicans don’t have a victory template, no matter what, as Limbaugh said their balls are so small they don’t have to wear a jock strap.

This would make a GREAT Geico commercial.

Show all these quick video clips of the Democrats named in this article calling for the impeachment of the various Republican presidents.

Then the narrator comes in: “If you’re a Democrat, you call for Republican presidents to be impeached. It’s what you do.

“If you want to save 15% or more on car insurance, you switch to Geico. It’s what you do.”

“The Democrats inquisition will cost them dearly in the 2018 election the will most of the 25 seats the party will never get back the power they once had the will be the party of the past everyone is onto scam.”

Considering that the republicans are now democrats on steroids, what is our alternative? Getting 25 new republicans will probably make things worse

The RATs have calling for the impeachment of every GOP President since Dwight Eisenhower, as far as I can remember, for the last 68 years as far as I remember.
