Friday at the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce in Irving, TX, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said some President Donald Trump political problems were "self-inflicted."

I don't know why anyone would give Cruz any grief over this statement. Like it or not, he's right about this.

Trump needs to find a chief of staff that is worth a damn to get control of the West Wing.

Because the last thing Trump needs is another republican publicly criticizing him. No doubt Cruz is correct but providing more MSM ammo is
a more then a bit disloyal and perhaps self serving. Instead defending the President the way the Rats would surely do the GOP is anxious to throw rocks at him from the sidelines.

The same could be said about Ted Cruz. Most of his troubles have been self inflicted.

His poor popularity numbers are proof. Probably best to not throw stones when living in glass houses.

That said, it appears that problem is common in the swamp.

But it comes across to me, that he is taking both sides of the topic.

Like many political figures. Keeping options open, to turn either way.

And I don’t know why you’d make that statement. POTUS is fighting five or more political nuclear wars right now. Now is not the time for ANYBODY in his own party to be sniping at him. Especially somebody prominent like sore loser Cruz. That he is providing aide and comfort to the enemy is totally unacceptable.

I would agree with that, but DOES NOT mean he has to say it. Cruz has other options than to side with the Left, like he also did with Chicago.

*************

That Canadian/Cuban/American is pontificating the truth. That said all of us have problems
that are self-inflicted. The question becomes have we address them and try to solve/improve
the situation. Cruz should be helping with solutions rather than judging.

Of course he's right, but you don't freely give the enemy ammunition like that. Ted just enabled the MSM to open up another angle of attack against the President.

No! He’s not right. Trump’s problems are not self inflicted.

Trump’s problems are the nation’s problems, namely:

1) that we’ve strayed too far from the constitutional limitations on government intended by the Founders
2) that as a result, we have traded away our liberties for a nanny state, our manufacturing base for a Ponzi scheme, and our cultural values for an amoral system of political correctness.
3) that when faced with these seemingly insurmountable threats to our Republic, the entire Democrat party, many in the Republican party, the entire Hollywood celebrity crowd and the entire press core see fit to oppose any serious effort to find solutions, instead obsessing on fake news about non issues in a blatant effort to obstruct the man we the people elected POTUS.

How is any of that self-inflicted on Trump’s part?

These memes - that Trump’s problems are self inflicted, that Trump is acting like a 7 year old, or is not “presidential” enough, that he twitters too much, that it is immature for him to call the dishonest press “dishonest”, that his staff is in chaos, etc, etc, etc... are all memes generated by his enemies to distract from the real issue: they don’t want him to drain the swamp.

Any supposed Trump supporter that piles on with these memes, saying things like “I’m a Trump supporter, but Trump should really put a sock in it” is unwittingly assisting the left with their propaganda.

Of course, any criticism from the left, however unfair, has an element of truth to it... all the best lies have an element of truth - so Trump isn’t perfect, but why carry water for the left and repeat their anti Trump propaganda?

People are giving grief to Cruz because they learned to absolutely hate Cruz during the primaries, and they’ve never moved on. Their hatred burns to the core of their beings, and expresses itself whenever given the chance.

“Cruz is an illegal immigrant Goldman Sachs lover who should be deported back to Cubanada.”

Yup.

Why? Because what Ted is doing id called PILING ON—and that is the last thing people who actually support him should be doing.

Ted Cruz would not have anything to ‘hide’ now would he???? After all it was the Senate Democrats that selected ol Ted to run the ‘Senate’ investigation of Trump in August 2016. Cruz has been a clown himself in this so called circus.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/senate-democrats-cruz-hearing-trump-russia

Given what we know about who punked Rick Wilson with the Trump dirt back in January 2016, and Ted Cruz played off it with that snark of Trump's New York ‘values’ in that New Hampshire debate... Ol, Tuesday night Ted is in no position to be giving advice.

The President needs to be very careful with his tweets now with Mueller and investigation being started. The media goads him into saying things and President takes the bait.

Trump is president. He is supposed to be Ted’s president.

Ted should be one of the most rabid people on Capital Hill defending Trump, so we can get Trump’s agenda through.

So what does he do? He goes out and takes pot-shots at president Trump.

This is more of Ted’s “Never Trump” leakage.

Ted Cruz is just one more misguided wanna-be.
