President Trump told Russian officials in the Oval Office this month that firing the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, had relieved “great pressure” on him, according to a document summarizing the meeting.
“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to the document, which was read to The New York Times by an American official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”
Mr. Trump added, “I’m not under investigation.”
The conversation, during a May 10 meeting — the day after he fired Mr. Comey — reinforces the notion that Mr. Trump dismissed him primarily because of the bureau’s investigation into possible collusion between his campaign and Russian operatives. Mr. Trump said as much in one televised interview, but the White House has offered changing justifications for the firing.
The White House document that contained Mr. Trump’s comments was based on notes taken from inside the Oval Office and has been circulated as the official account of the meeting. One official read quotations to The Times, and a second official confirmed the broad outlines of the discussion.

Unfortunately (for my entertainment), I think this is fake news that was probably put out by the White House just to troll the media. The only thing that would make it more obviously fake would be if Trump allegedly told the Russians that he wanted to take Comey to a Moscow hotel suite and urinate all over him.
This is a riot and so childlike of the press.
This fake News is to prolong the investigation and questions to be asked to high officials in administration. The person will never come forth because it never happened but it will be in people’s mind that’s what Trump said

What is driving this continuous assault on those of us who want to put America First is a profound hatred. The mind of normal people rebels at the hatred of one's homeland, one's kith & kin, history & culture. But you cannot explain what is going on, and not see that motivation, at least as a major contributing factor in the unending assault.
Number one, Comey stated Trump WAS NOT under investigation three times.

Yep. One can hate Trump but if that same person was honest, they can look and make common sense deduction that this is an conspiracy of many many people within and outside the federal government. No leaks about the coordination? Not one come forth and say ‘yep, this is an attack and establishment setup?’ I bet those people are being threatened not to say anything
