The democrats don't control anything, so where did this independent council/special prosecutor come from?
And speaking of special prosecutors, Where's the special prosecutor for Hillary's emails and her money-laundering fake charity?
How about a special prosecutor to find out who Obama illegally unmasked and spied on? For fast and furious, for the IRS, for Benghazi?
The democrats control nothing. How the hell did this happen?
special counsel
There is a distinction between special prosecutor and special counsel, small but distinct.
I think the special counsel in this matter is going to work out well for us especially if he is able to finally state there is no there there and point out the whole thing was nothing more than political rhetoric.
The Justice Department is part of the Trump administration. He doesn’t need a special prosecutor to look into Obama or Clinton. He just needs cause and the will.
When was the last time giving the democrats what they wanted worked out well? More likely this will be another way to attack Trump and knock him off track. Maybe even frame him for an imaginary crime. I really hope you're right. But I just don't think so.
There isn’t enough rope or electricity to terminate the scum in Washington.
2 step process:
1) The Deep State got to AG Sessions and forced him to recuse himself on Russia
2) The Deep State got to Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein.
By getting to these 2 people (both of whom Trump appointed), the Deep State controls the DOJ.
Everybody thinks it GOP & DEMS; two separate parties.....it’s not.
It’s Trump vs the UniParty. The GOP side of the UniParty takes their orders from the same place the DEM side does. There is NO 2-party system in the District of Corruption...just the UniParty. The UniParty serves to enrich itself and their globalist taskmasters.
Oh, they want all the “unwashed masses” (that’d be us) to think there is a 2-party system and put on all kinds of theatrical moves to convince us....but sadly....there isn’t. Trump is fighting the entire UniParty: both the GOP side and the RAT side.
He needs our prayers and support.
Well, maybe it is wishful thinking on my part. On the other hand, we did not give the dems what they wanted, it was what the Assistant AG wanted. The dems wanted a special prosecutor and full blown joint committee hearings on TV during the summer. This will stop that as far as the collusion goes.
Mainly because Sessions recused himself, similar to what happened to Scooter Libby under GWB when Ashcroft went into the hospital. Ironically it was Comey who appointed Fitzgerald then acting in the place of Ashcroft.
Obviously the latest set of leaks about what Trump is claimed to have said was the trigger.
Also maybe Rosenstein didn't like being credited with offing Comey.
just shows how effed we are as a once law abiding country
Her Royal Highness Hillary is above the law.
Comey said so.
But he warned that no one else should try what she did.
He explicitly dismembered the rule of law.
I could just chew nails at the impotence of republican leaders. Their silence is acceptance. Just further proof, if you're one of the connected in D.C., you are above the law.
This IS a constitutional crisis.
Step back and take a deep breath.
The Special Prosecutor is charged with investigating Russian meddling in the election.
When did you first hear about Russian meddling? Might it be when the Dems claimed that Russians were responsible for hacking the DNC?
After Trump won, they claimed that Russia helped him.
Mueller can, and will, look into ALL of that, including the unmasking of Flynn and leaking of classified documents and conversations. He has access to everything the FBI has and a broad political landscape. Let this play out.
Answer: We have Attorney General Sessions on the case
We don’t talk about it in public until after the indictment
The appointment shuts down the fabled “collusion” theory and focuses the whole mess back on Hillary, Podesta and the corrupt media.
The crimes you cite are quite ordinary and needn’t involve ‘special counsels’. They could be prosecuted by any US Attorney. What’s lacking is political will.
