A very misleading statement. Try this, "professional" journalists:

"It was the second time in two months that people attending a pro-Trump rally were attacked by protesters."

It almost happened during the Milo protest at the University of Washington a few months ago. The wife of a Milo supporter panicked when her husband was surrounded by a mob and shot an Antifa guy in the abdomen, but he survived. Of course, the prosecutor threw the book at the Milo supporters, but all the protesters got off scot free.

Sowing distrust of the police is an Alinskyite tactic. I'm sure the political bosses of the cops being told to stand down know this. It's a win-win for the radicals, driving a wedge between their political opponents and the police.

Don't blame the cops so much; go after the politicians instead. I think a few pro-Trump rallies at their houses will send the right message, no matter what happens.

Seriously, hire some otherwise anonymous bruisers to provide security. Make them “one hits”, so that if a radical attacks someone, a bruiser smashes their face, then leaves before they can get arrested. If you have between a half dozen and a dozen bruisers, they can put a major crimp in the ranks of the agitators.

Other than taking some basic precautions against easy identification, the bruisers act independent of each other.

Does not surprise me at all. Minnesota law enforcement is useless. Assault and battery, as well as destruction of property, is considered de facto acceptable means of political expression if one is a Democrat.
