The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 28% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 43% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15. (see trends).
Two-out-of-the-three nights in the latest survey follow the president’s decision to fire FBI Director James Comey.

As the House’s plan to revamp Obamacare moves to the Senate, most voters continue to agree that the health care law needs to be changed. But support for a single-payer health care system where the government provides coverage for everyone is up to a new high, even though voters admit that it will push up costs and lower the quality of care. …After reading that (it’s on the same page), I of course concur with what you said. (Well, I did even before I read that.)

I imagine some percentage of “disapprove” includes those who feel Trump hasn’t been sufficiently Trumpian. The remainder is mostly those who will still hate him even he were to cure cancer, end poverty, and beat swords into plowshares. So if he wants to be more popular, he need only be himself.
Don’t tell that to Charlie Rose, he almost had a heart attack berating Hucksters daughter this morning. And their White House correspondent has the permanent case of constipation all over her face.
Voters showing appreciation for his draining the swamp. Comey was a YUGE swamp creature.

Most of us wondered why Comey was not fired immediately after Trump took office. I am just wondering how many of those paying attention to his behavior as head of the FBI, a very crucial job in this country, in the Clinton matter, with any trust in him.
There used to be money to be made owning newspapers and television stations.
Now, papers like NYT and other cities, some are purchased for their real estate holdings.
Not a lot of money in it.
For the remainder, there is no income producing reason for owning “old media” companies except to use them for propanda, to further business interests. That is why we must examine freedom of the press vs freedom of market/public relations/propaganda.
Why did Bezos buy WAPO, Carlos Slim=NYT or Adelson=Las Vegas Review. Not because they generate profits. Plus you can buy them extremely cheap.

Does anyone think Comey’s recent testimony was bizarre? A co-worker who voted for HRC and detests Trump was honest enough to reply when I asked him, “I’ve avoided talking politics since months before the election, but I am curious about what you thought about Comey’s testimony. The word that came to my mind was, “weirdâ€â€. He said he had the exact same reaction. That’s what makes me think all the hysteria from Hollywood and the media will blow over. Comey just did not comport himself the way 90% of the public would expect of the head of the FBI.
