President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, played a key role in the Trump administration’s decision to back down from its threat to withdraw from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
Exactly what that role involved, however, is a matter of dispute. Kushner was a conduit between Canadian officials and the Trump administration but accounts differ about the details.
Last month, various news reports said that Trump was preparing to invoke Article 2205 of NAFTA, the first step in withdrawing from the trade agreement that the U.S. president had attacked so fiercely on the campaign trail. Several hours later, however, the administration appeared to reverse course, saying Trump had been persuaded by the leaders of Mexico and Canada to stay in the deal.
“Two people that I like very much, the president of Mexico, prime minister of Canada, they called up, they said, can we negotiate? I said yes, we can renegotiate,” Trump explained at a rally in Pennsylvania a few days later.

Now reports have emerged that put Kushner at the center of the globalist effort to save NAFTA. According to the news service The Canadian Press, Kushner called the chief of staff of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to suggest that the prime minister immediately call Trump.

Canada and Mexico are very different. We have some not so great deals with Canada that we can work out.
Mexico is different...companies relocate and we lose jobs and the illegals take the money back to Mexico.

No one seemed to mind when Jared won the election for Trump. They are there because they reflect and implement core Trump values. Which are 1. Trump, 2. Trump, and 3. Trump. All Three are right leaning populists Democrats with solid conservative social leanings. Trump is solid on court picks and immigration. The deregulation and lower taxes are huge bonuses. Take it and be happy. Trade wars were never going to happen with Trump. If you listened he said Negotiate! He is like Priceline.

Well, to be fair, President Trump just said he'd give renegotiating a try, and if it doesn't work out to his satisfaction, it's gone.
Nope. It helped but without Jared’s Silicon Valley black ops with Peter Thiel’s tech resources, Trump was toast. Jared raised the funds and called the extra campaigning via data analysis that was the margin in the former formidable “blue line” states.
He was #1 from the moment he gave his announcement speech and hit illegals hard. Nothing could touch him from that moment on, because WE had his back. Money is cool and all, but it had nothing to do with why he is in office.
Seriously? Wow.
Well, yes. I am beginning to agree. I'm pretty sure Ivanka is a liberal.
The president needs to remember who elected him, or as my parents used to say, "dance with the one who brought you."

I’m sorry. All this is a big “So What!?!” burger and lead me to believe the headline should have been suffixed with “....AND???”
It meant nothing without PA,OH, MI, WI. It was an extremely close run affair and without the data mining and targeting (with money) Trump loses those states to Hillary. If you haven’t read the Forbes article on Jared.
But the main point is Jared reflects Trump and Trump values better than any Freeper. Ivanka and Jared are going no where. If you don’t like them then you don’t like trump.
Ok. You’re right. Trump is only in office because of Jared. What was I thinking.
