MILAN — Former President Barack Obama gave his first speech abroad since leaving office and addressed the dangers of climate change — and joked about the lighter side of his post-presidential life.
During a Q&A Obama was asked what he doesn't miss about the White House.
Obama said the list was long, but at the top of it was the isolation of being president.
"You live in what's called 'the bubble,'" Obama said. "And it is a very nice prison. So you don't have the freedom of movement to just take a walk or to sit at a café."
"Now I am only captive to selfies, which is almost as bad," he said.
"I can walk anywhere as long as I'm willing to take a selfie every two steps," Obama joked.

I’m double jointed so............!
I’ve taken probably ten selfies with my granddaughter and my wife. That’s all and they were to mark an occasion. Other than that, I know what I look like, I see myself in the mirror when I shave every morning.

IIRC the Clinton’s wedged their way into the news cycle for many months after they left the White House. They never missed an opportunity to get their names and faces mentioned and shown, often eclipsing President Bush in the process. It wasn’t until the Weeble Wobble® was booed off stage by NY firefighters in the 9/11 aftermath that they finally subsided.
He can always walk around with a fedora, wig, and surgical mask like Michael Jackson.
