Why will it take an f-ing year to get this new administration full speed? Why has POTUS Trump turned swamp drain into a trickle? Why does AG Sessions have 1/100 the zeal and energy of the last a-holes who were AG as that moron Yates yaps her gums with stupidity and lies?

I’m wondering what her personal position is on “Do ask, Do Tell” and the whole social experimentation test tube the military has become.
+1
Read her actual relevant Bio here. Then tell us one more time how unimpressive she is.
She was a moderate Repub (read RINO) but not an in-your-face type when representing her district in New Mexico. She quietly went about her business. That’s not a defense of her politics nor is it an attack.
Final point: I will not hold Heather Wilson accountable if she doesn’t personally crusade against political correctness in the Air Force, that is, accountable for not singlehandedly crusading to turn back the clock on a thing that has become entrenched in politics and culture no thanks to her or any one person.
It’s going to take far more that goes far beyond where even a visionary can see, in order to reverse this mindless control over culture and values that has destroyed the basics of our once great civilization.

She is a NM liberal Republican, not conservative.
According to Wikipedia, "Wilson is an instrument rated private pilot."
Well, I’m certain I never called her “unimpressive”, so I don’t know why you would say something like that.
I was actually trying to get some idea of her mindset with regards to the comments other Freeper were making. Sorry my posts got you so worked up.
That was not my intention.
I have a feeling she will do nothing to restore my US Air Force to its former glory.
As I recall once upon a time she actually spoke against putting women into combat; I’m surprised they did not use that against her.
I hope she kicks Mikey Weinstein to the curb—permanently.
That’s a nice puff piece; thanks for posting it. The facts remain: the highlights of her 7 year Air Force career were going to Oxford and being a arms control negotiator. Yay.
I never called her unimpressive or anything else for that matter, as I know nothing about her. My response in #10 was merely to acknowledge NorthMountain’s comment at #6.
At #6, I believe NorthMountain is implying that she needs to be tough — like a man. Please correct me, NorthMountain, if I am wrong.
Generally, it is not a good idea to have women in charge of warriors, IMO.
I have met Heather on a couple of occasions and she has always been charming.
Growing up in South Florida I have a pretty accurate Gay-dar and have never gotten that vibe from her.
Whats the rush Mitch...its only been about 3 months since she was nominated.
“I have a feeling she will do nothing to restore my US Air Force to its former glory. “
I know, I know I’m a dinosaur, a relic of the USAF when America was still America. In those days (60’s-70’s) it was called “this mans Air Force”- a carryover from WW2. In subsequent years I had the honor of having 2 different women officers as supervisors writing my OER’s. Couldnt have asked for better people. Of course they were old school too. I think Sec. Wilson kind of bridges that era to now. We shall see.
