The Senate on Thursday passed a $1.1 trillion funding bill which includes a number of provisions to help Israel address security-related challenges.
Senators voted 79-18 in favor of the bill, which will passed the House on Wednesday.
The Omnibus Appropriations bill for Fiscal Year 2017 provides $3.1 billion plus an additional $75 million in overall security assistance to Israel. [ ]
The bill also includes a provision that reduces aid to the Palestinian Authority (PA) on a dollar-for-dollar basis for any support the PA, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and any affiliated organization provides to terrorists or their families.

Congress passes the PA “don’t ask don’t tell Terrorist salary Act.”
The more I see of this budget the more I hate it.
Next time, Republicans, don’t even waste your time. Just let the democrats write it and then give them your proxies.
How would they know how much the PA gives the terrorists?
Reduces?
why are giving anything to PA\PLO ?
are we nuts ?
Another bad day for the BHO legacy, if ever there was one.
How many walls could that $1.1 trillion build right here on our own borders?
No money should go to this terror group.
It wasn’t a Budget, it was a CR.
The Trump Administration’s first Budget will begin in October. The so called negotiations will begin soon.
THAT will tell us if the Republic will survive our Lifetimes.
How about 3 to 1 or 10 to 1, first as a penalty and second as a presumption that what actually goes on is far worse than what we know about.
Of course the real question is why we give them anything at all, but I presume the answer is that the swamp is taking a cut on the outgo while also getting paid to represent the Palestinians in the first place.
Why are we giving anything to.anybody? What’s the Constitutional authorirlry for this?
The American government does not have the right, much less the obligation, to try to promote the economic and social welfare of foreign people. Of course, all of us are interested in combating poverty and disease wherever it existsbut the Constitution does not empower our government to undertake that job in foreign countries, no matter how worthwhile it might be. Therefore, except as it can be shown to promote Americas national interests, the Foreign Aid program is unconstitutional.I would call that the bottom line, by necessity.

your complaint would matter if it was a budget, its not its a continuing resolution to provide additional funding to last years budget. Trump added riders to get more money for the military, more for border security and school choice. The budget under Trump has not happened yet.
Rejecting payments to terrorists in this story and payments to Obama in another story. I had to read the details to see if both articles were about the same decision.

There is nothing so permanent as a temporary fix.
MUI many provisions will continue through the next budget and beyond.
I have little hope left.
Dammmn! Stop funding Islamic terrorist murder gangs NOW! And the next time Abbas or any of his gang dare show up in America, shoot on sight!
Dammmn! Stop funding Islamic terrorist murder gangs NOW! And the next time Abbas or any of his gang dare show up in America, shoot on sight! Rather, of course, arrest prosecute and send him to Guantanamo. There.
After we do something in 18 and get some Globalists primaried out it will not change, Trump is one man fighting an uphill battle against an decades old entrenched Globalist owned government.
We need to step up in swing states and carry our own weight. and in others we need to get rid of Democrats like McCain and Linda Graham.
