So many great points made in this thread!
Another factor: The democrat party has for many, many years encouraged its base to be lazy (welfare, EBT, 0bamaphones, free this and free that) and now it shouldn’t be surprising that they are too lazy to get up off their butts to vote.
They even made registering to vote as easy as possible with motor voter and people going around to sign people up to vote. If a person can’t be bothered to register to vote (or get an ID), what makes anyone think that person will make the effort to vote?
Another reason that the democrats want voting by mail is because much of their base is too stupid to find the polling place.

You are correct. Hillary’s numbers were very close to Obama’s in 2012. Trump picked up two million votes over Romney, and in the right places.
The Dims will not take heed of any of this thus ensuring Republican victories for years to come.
Norhtern ME, MI, WI and MN all have large blue collar hunting populations that traditionally vote Dem. Most of those areas flipped, or just about flipped to Trump.
Hillary, and Dem Senate candidates, talking about EOs on gun control the last two weeks of the election cost them a whole lot of votes.
It’s because most people don’t really like you, plus your people, who consider themselves infinately smarter that us deplorable rubes, never considered how the US elecroral system works.

I didn’t vote for Hillary because she is a Democrat.
After all these years, there is nothing a Democrat could ever say to me and get my vote.
She lost because the whole country saw her lying about her Email servers.
