My black brother called me from Baltimore feeling frustrated and alone. He is surrounded by blacks, including his own household, who believe everything they are told by fake news media. No amount of data, logic, or truth seems to penetrate their wall of brain-dead loyalty to the Democrat party and worship of Obama. My brother said that even at his all-black church every sermon includes digs against Trump.
In his black circles, spouting the truth about Obama is not tolerated. They angrily reject data confirming that blacks moved backwards culturally and economically after eight years of Obama.
As a strong Christian, my brother is saddened that many of his black peers abandoned Christ's agenda to worship at the feet of their black-golden-idol Obama. Many black Christians ignore the truth that Obama was the most biblically-hostile president in U.S. history. Remarkably, even some black preachers threw their Bibles under the bus to support Obama's anti-biblical mandates.
My brother said he cannot understand why so many blacks eagerly accept Leftists' obvious lie that all problems plaguing blacks are the fault of white racist America and their new Nemesis, Donald Trump.
I praised my brother for being an independent thinker. He reminds me of Joe, an old black college buddy back in the 1970s.
Around a dozen of us black art students were attending the Maryland Institute College of Art. The Black Panthers and black power protests were the rage. Our small group of black students ranted constantly about how a black man does not have an f****** chance in this f****** racist country.

It’s a spiritual problem much more than racial.
All these black activist types, and everyone for that matter, is free to emigrate to other places in the world which will accept them.
In the case of these angry blacks, they may prefer to relocate to a country in sub-Saharan Africa.
If they can find some other country in the world which will enable them to live a better life, please go and do so.
I feel sorry for conservative blacks like this man and the other black conservatives that are promptly labeled “Uncle Toms” or “Plantation Negroes”. They truly often stand alone.
Tribal loyalty is more important than anything. More important than truth, more important than Christianity, more important than patriotism.
Also, they MUST believe that the reason they are not doing well is because of some vast evil conspiracy -- because the alternative is to accept inadequacy as the cause.

I think there is a lot of hidden (and not-so-hidden) guilt about having accepted the cynical liberal white man’s dollar to become breeding stock for votes.
We hear harangues about slavery every day. Ridiculous. Even more ridiculous when you do the math. A man complaining today about the effects of slavery, which ended in 1865, is the chronological equivalent of an Englishman in 1926 (ie 8 years after the end of WWI) complaining about the effects of losing the American colonies. It may be remembered, but it’s hardly relevant.
The welfare plantation, on the other hand, is a mere 53 years old (give or take) but it has had devastating effects on the welfare recipients as well as the devastating effect on the economy when government must confiscate trillions of dollars from the economy every single year to fund welfare programs while still going additional trillions in debt. The ‘menu’ has expanded to bizarre, ludicrous degrees: free school meals, EBT cards, medical care and housing. Of course, when the recipients didn’t like their depressing, crime-ridden free housing the government got the bright idea to put them into previously-idyllic suburbs under Section 8.
The racial invective - reparations, white privilege, etc. - is a sad, predictable attempt to deflect responsibility for their own choices - the largest and worst choice is accepting 30 pieces of silver for a lifetime of mere existence.

I think you might get farther talking sense to black people than to white leftists. It is so pathetic to see a white person arguing for the “BLACK LIVES MATTER” bunch and apparently ashamed of being white. We have one in the family who claimed that Barack Obama was cutting spending to the point that BOTH the annual deficit and the national debt were falling. This was just after the 2012 election. I didn’t waste my breath trying to convince this middle aged math whiz (he actually is one) that it was impossible for both to be dropping at the same time. If there is a shrinking annual deficit there is still a deficit so the national debt has to be rising. If the national debt is shrinking there cannot be an annual deficit, there has to be an annual surplus to shrink the debt.
I have come to the conclusion that the main reason everyone seems to hold diametrically opposite positions simultaneously is that people pick their positions based on identitarianism. That is to say, Blacks are simultaneously Fundamentalist Protestants and across-the-board hard lefties because to them this is demanded by Black "identity." Opposing "gay rights" is "un-Black." Opposing abortion is "un-Black." Not hating Trump's guts is "un-Black." Etc., etc., etc.
But Blacks aren't the only people who do this. How many white conservatives are chrstians primarily because they believe it is true vs. those who are chrstians because chrstianity is "the American religion?" Most conservative chrstian "apologetics" thumps the American heritage, not the truth of chrstianity per se. Also, why do so many people reject polygenism and yet are racists? Does that make any sense whatsoever? People who believe in Adam and Eve have no grounds on which to be racists; rather, evolutionary polygenism should be a much better position for racism. But instead, many people attack evolution and "race-mixing" simultaneously, while leftist atheists seem to think that "social justice" is the logical consequence of nineteenth century materialist philosophy.
I guarantee you one reason so many people are opposed to school prayer is that school prayer and Bible-reading somehow enforces "white supremacy," and that "separation of church and state" was a necessary precursor to liberating Black chrstians from mistreatment by white chrstians.
People aren't logical.
