Speaker of the House Paul Ryans (R-WI) leadership was called into question by new voices Thursday night as hopes expire of passing a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare before President Donald Trumps first 100 days end on Saturday.
At a meeting on the Hill late Thursday night, the speaker and his House Republican leadership team decided to further delay the vote. With what appeared to be the acquiescence of conservatives in the Freedom Caucus and think-tanks like Club for Growth and FreedomWorks, who took much of the blame for the failure of the first attempt to pass the American Health Care Act (AHCA) in March, hopes were buoyed that passage was imminent.
Instead, according to Politico, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told reporters as he left the meeting, We are not voting on health care tomorrow. Were still educating members.

Eddie Haskell strikes again.
Seems strange that as long as obama was in the white house and Congress knew that any vote to end or repeal obamacare would be vetoed, the rs had the votes, but now that President Trump is in the oval office all of a sudden the rs can’t muster, even the same votes, to rid the nation of obamacare.
RESIGN!!! Ryan has proven a serial failure and is embarrassing even his fellow RINOs. Time for him and his deputies to go. Important the deputies go and the house get new leadership.
The reality here is that the Democrats still hold an effective majority in the House of Representatives. That majority is comprised of actual Democrat Party members, plus Republicans in Democrat or swing districts who have to vote like Democrats on many issues just to keep their jobs. I'd count my own representative in Congress among the latter group.
It is obvious Ryan and the RINO’s are working against Trump.

Which means, “We don’t have enough Republican votes to pass this garbage, so we (once again) are pulling the vote.”
And even though it’s the moderate Republicans (just like last time) that are hesitant - look for them and Trump to (once again) blame conservatives.
Even though the HFC has this week agreed to these latest TrumpCare conditions - they will still get the blame for this non-vote.
And this pisses me off to no end.
Isn’t it amazing that, almost immediately after Ryan became the Speaker, Obama had no trouble whatsoever getting legislation through the House...?
In all seriousness, is there anything Ryan has ever done to warrant taking him seriously?
Lyin’ Ryan needs to be kicked to the curb.
The guy seems to have met a big government intrusive program that he didn’t like.
Oh, and did I mention that he seems to be an even bigger butt-boy to the RINOs and socialist-democrats than even crying cheeto Boehner was.
All talk, and too busy making sure his GOP-e cronies get taken care of.
Ryan doesn’t want President Trump to succeed any more than does Nancy.
Ryan should be dumped.
Well his strategy is to wait for President Pence to be sworn in, at which point he will continue to do absolutely nothing, which is all the GOP ever does.
Ryan has been inept at leader. He needs help fast.
Ryan is now the poster boy for an issue of major national concern. He has failed.
Twice. After having 8 years to prepare.
For the good of the country, he must step aside. He is too damaged to carry forward the president’s agenda.
