I remember how popular Ann was here during the Romney run. Anyone else?

I remember. I haven’t forgotten. I was pretty mad, not because she supported him when he was the last man standing, but because she supported him against other more conservative candidates. Her support at that stage made no sense.

And I remember how she went after Palin. She went through a period where she wasn’t too supportive of tea party conservatives for some reason.

But when she is engaged in the fight, she fights. She is fearless. She’ll go anywhere, into any lion’s den, into any venue, to defend her case. And she does it articulately and well. There isn’t really another like her.

If we don’t back the people who will fight, we’ll be left with what we mostly have now, which is people who won’t fight.

I admire her. I’m still annoyed over the whole Romney thing, though.

Coulter’s past support of Romney is a blight on her record.

So what? Many of us here supported Ted Cruz and now we are all in for Trump (as is Ann Coulter). It's what happens in this country when one is free to do it. It's not a "blight" it's a positive feature of an enlightened culture.

If you are looking for ideological purity 100% of the time, go join the fascist "Anti-Fascist" Left. They demand it or you get smashed and destroyed.

She pretty much fits my definition of being conservative by simply going after the most dangerous issue facing America; immigration. Both legal and illegal but mostly illegal.

Who fits your definition?

Is Ann Coulter the only person willing to stand up to the modern Gestapo?

Apparently so.

IMO that article headline is professional suicide. To even propose that such a state of affairs exists indicates a deeply addled mind.

Did you ever take one of those little online tests that supposedly locate you on an ideological map? You know, whether you’re Conservative, Authoritarian, Libertarian, Liberal, etc. My point is, ideological purity is one of those things that some can get too caught up in. Ideology can be somewhat static. That would be dependent on the framed issues of any given period. Coulter isn’t perfect. No single Conservative has ever been “perfect” nor consistent. The Conservative edge is that Conservatives don’t generally become bogged down in dognma.....like the Liberal does.

It wasn’t her vote, it was her fervent support for him to get the nomination. I would have voted for Howdy Doody to keep Hussein away.

Conservatives will never get the guts to fight the Left.

They'll cave every time.

They'll betray their allies every time.

Conservatives will stab you in the back every time.

The Republicans in Congress will condemn Ann after the inevitable riots.

Caving to the Left and betraying America is what Conservatism is all about.

I am done with FOX News for caving on O’Reilly. I am so fed up with the way Conservatives take glee in the fall of a man who didn’t “check all their boxes” by definition of conservatism. Instead of protecting our own and standing strong as do the Leftists we eviscerate the man giving the Lefty Loons yet another victory. No wonder the Rebuplicans are ill equipped to lead when we finally have a majority.

Well said.

Conservatives eat their own every single time.

I agree.

Love Ann, Steyn, Whittle, Mark Levin, and many others. I don’t agree with any of them all the time, but what I love is that they speak truth and they are honest with their opinions. Kind of like Trump.

More's the pity. He is one of the most eloquent conservative spokesmen today.

I like Ann, and she has fallen out of favor with many on this site for some valid reasons, but overall, I still like her. She is a bomb-thrower (ideologically speaking)

Bill Whittle can throw as well, but he spends more time framing the issue and is more logical.

One of my favorites: "Black Lives Matter Kills People" by Bill Whittle

It is a 7 minute video which puts it in context, and explains much.

Each on has his or her own foibles, but...we are never going to find someone who toes our line the way we want them to 100%, but for me, Bill Whittle comes closest.

For me, Coulter’s past support of Romney is a blight on her record.

Don't be too judgmental.

FR's reluctant support (the ONLY way to stop Obama since Mitt bulldozed the primaries) might cause US to look bad as well.

And as a grown up went to the voting booth and voted for him. And to top it off, I was SHOCKED he lost.

As a Christian; I could NOT go into the voting booth and vote for a man as deceived by Mormonism as he appeared to be.

But; like you; I was SHOCKED he lost.

He seems to think that corporations are in business to espouse political opinions. They are in business to make money

And espousing certain political opinions makes them think they'll make MORE.
