This is gonna be huge. I think, based on what I’ve discussed with Team Trump, they are really gonna push the repatriation of funds/amnesty to bring in $2 trillion immediately.

I’m excited for anything President Trump gets done...

He is keeping his promises and if he has to pull back, it’s not his doing, it’s someone else’s doing...(RINO RYAN comes to mind)...

GO.PRESIDENT TRUMP.GO!!! MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

Abolish income tax. At least abolish tax on savings and retirement Ng income of all kinds. Too much govt discouragement of people to save. Too many elderly on the dole. Bad for them. Bad for the country. Remove taxes on sociable insecurity and all other pension and retirement accounts as a first step to restore savings habit Then abolish income tax completely. It’s corrupt as Hell. And a huge anchor weight on America and our economy

I will believe that after I see it. He and Ryan have issued deadlines before for health care reform and tax reform, only to have the dates pass by without any comment. I really hope it does happen.

A large tax cut would be very welcome. Simplification would be even more welcome. It makes me ill, preparing my taxes, and trying to get it done before the deadline. I have a pretty small income, but it’s complicated, and every year it seems to get worse.

Clinton, Bush, and Obama immensely complicated the tax system, trying to hide the increases.

Cut and simplify!

Great. Just great! I FINALLY get a tax cut after working since I was 15...and now I’m retired and don’t have any taxable income!

I’m not going back to work, though. *SMIRK*

If the president plays this right, and he almost always does, he will enjoy a groundswell of enthusiasm from business and middle-income taxpayers. Especially if he were to declare social security 100 percent nontaxable. The Treasury takes a small hit there but it’s easily recoverable from repatriated profits and from downsizing the bureaucracy to decrease expenses on the other side of the ledger.

If the president proposes tax cuts in stages, with the middle incomes getting first relief, the opposition will have no arguments of standing with which to trash him. Although . . .

You know they will anyway.

Then. Clean up the IRS. Wow, I’m delirious. Even with setbacks, he’s always thinking of Americans. MAGA!

Chaffetz asking Trump about gift tax in oversight letter about his gift to the US treasury of the foreign payments.

. I brought that up at the time.

They should do away with this gift tax nonsense

If Congress screws this up, it is going to send Business and Consumer confidence plunging. They better get their shit together and get this passed.

in order to keep the student loan bubble from bursting, I would suggest that they formulate a tax favorable plan similar to the health savings accounts so that responsible earners are encouraged to pay the loans down rather than let them linger and possibly default.
