A large tax cut would be very welcome. Simplification would be even more welcome. It makes me ill, preparing my taxes, and trying to get it done before the deadline. I have a pretty small income, but it’s complicated, and every year it seems to get worse.
Clinton, Bush, and Obama immensely complicated the tax system, trying to hide the increases.
Cut and simplify!
Use a tax software program. You should be able to get your taxes done in 30 minutes or less.
