Cheez Whiz. *ralph* I used to work at a local landmark sub joint in college, and there's only one way to make them: with provolone. Seasoned lettuce, sliced tomatoes, mayo, chopped onions cooked on the grill with the shredded ribeye, and sweet peppers on a real Italian roll. The guy's brother ran a bakery, and had bags of them delivered fresh every day. Pair of Italian types with genuine, straight-outta-da-Bronx accents. They knew what they were doing. And I got all their secrets locked up inside my thick noggin, so I can whip them up any time my taste buds feel the call of the wild.
