Not as sinister as the headline implies, these ships just want to find out if we are as good as they think we are.

We are that good.

And the JMSDF is the second best navy in the world, per ship.

China and Russia are NOT North Korean friendly. They are 2 of a group of six countries which keep a watchful eye on little Kim.

They dispatched this group last week from the North China Sea, they are very close to the NORKS.

I detest how articles portray Russia and China as forces for stability and peace, when they are thug dictatorships.

Nothing Unusual here. They always shadowed us during the cold war.

Yeah, this is not news at all.

What may be ‘news’ is that the Vinson Group finished conducting operations in the ‘disputed’ South China Sea and then left Singapore and transited the ‘disputed’ South China Sea again to get to Korea.

Doesn’t seem to be much ‘dispute’ to me.

JMSDF

Using acronyms is a sign of one's extreme intelligence. Unfortunately I don't fall into that category so I have no idea what you just posted........

What’s the “Over/Under” on how soon the MSM starts showing the Dooms Day clock at the start of every broadcast.

The US task force should lock all weapons on the spy ships, just for a minute or so-a quick sphincter check for the Russians and Chinese.

Big F-—’n Deal. We monitor their fleets, why would we not suspect that they do the same. As well, I’m sure those ships are now being tailed by US subs if they are in turn tailing the US fleet.

Although Russia and China are not our allies, they don’t want NK doing something stupid to provoke the US into a real response.

I’m also willing to bet that the only reason NK didn’t detonate the test nuke was because they don’t have enough weapons grade uranium to make another at this time.

China and Russia have dispatched intelligence-gathering vessels from their navies to chase the USS Carl Vinson nuclear-powered aircraft carrier,

And American nuclear subs are trailing the intelligence-gathering vessels...guaranteed!

...with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov saying the issue should be resolved peacefully through political and diplomatic efforts.

Since when? They can start the political and diplomatic efforts any time they like. We're certainly not holding them back. Never have!

This has been an ongoing problem for two decades now, and neither of these nations have stood up and told North Korea to knock it off.

Seems to me the AP, WP, NYT, LAT, and WSJ are all pretty much pushing for a nuclear confrontation.

I don’t trust their reporting much.

They seem to post thing in the most incendiary of ways they can think up.

Yeah, I wasn't supposed to say anything but President Trump told the commies not too long ago that we learned how to weaponize ions. So that's why they're being such good little commies. Image and video hosting by TinyPic Of course gravity's not a problem so there's no deflection angle. A straight line ion particle beam from a satellite to, say, a fuel tank and kablooie! Just about everything they've got is pretty much obsolete now. Keep it to yourself, OK?
