CNN EXPOSES Trump For Golf & Mar a Lago Trips After Promising He Would Never Go On Vacation

Well CNN in this Youtube vid seems to be correct here, Trump said one thing on the campaign trail and now is doing another.

Yes, it is amazing that CNN is finally covering presidential vacation costs.

But two important distinctions, Trump is actually visiting his real home from his temporary White House residence. The 2nd is that if Trump were not president he could still do the same thing.

One point I would like CNN to answer is how much is Trump charging the GVT (e.g., Secret Service) to stay at Mar A Largo?

**********************************************

Answer:

Something that was revealed during the last Presidency about the WH few seem to know much about. The POSTUS put off security renovations until he left the WH. It was thought to be Trump would not be able to stay in the WH during the first year of his Presidency. The trips to Mar A Largo are due to these security renovations. Having him in the WH at all is impressive given the WH has construction going on. 171 posted on 4/16/2017, 10:10:52 AM by zaxtres

Take a look at my profile and decide if I am a Troll, plus almost 20 years as a Freeper should allow for the benefit of the doubt.

Who cares? You're undermining Trump and pushing the liberal media's narrative. And, that hurts conservatism.

Bottom line here is that Trump said one thing on the Campaign Trail and now is doing other.

Perhaps Trump made the foolish assumption that his conversations would be secure inside the White House. And now that he has realized that they aren't...

This place is under a constant barrage of pessimism, defeatism, petulant premature dissatisfaction, and probably with a wee bit of never-Trump thrown in, to boot. I have never seen anything like it in quite a number of years.

Ditto. And it is all an enormous distraction from substantive issues, like that nutcase in North Korea threatening the civilized world with nuclear weapons. Suddenly Trump in Mar a Lago is more important than nukes in the hands of crackpot totalitarians.

You attacked me, I did not call you out until then.

You make fun of me about using the military, but one of the first rules of combat: “Know thy enemy”

Freepers have been calling out the costs of Obama’s vacations for years, I believe we can agree that is a fact.

Now the left is calling out Trump’s “vacation” costs, this needs to be combated.

You can put your head in the sand and ignore it, or you can fight where Obama never went to his home to stop the left/CNN narrative.

This should be expected from CNN.

The President is hardly vacationing. He works non-stop but:

We elected a billionaire. This is his home and his lifestyle. He shouldn’t have to give up everything to be our President. If he said he was going to stay in the White House and then changed his mind, so be it.

Know thy enemy? Interesting comment since you posted an anti-Trump message and are doubling down on it.

Wow, I believe in fighting leftists with the truth. Unfortunately in this case Leftists (e.g., CNN) have the truth with Trump’s words, and an effect defense needs to be developed.

Mar a Lago was constructed to be a winter White House. Trump has not gone to his home in NYC. He has gone to his winter White House. It is more healthy to be outside soaking up some Vitamin D. It is a much more hospitable environment for visiting heads of state. It is a much better and relaxed environment for conducting negotiations.

Does anyone remember Molly Yard? She was an early feminist rabble rouser. Her trade mark statement, used on many occasions, was:
“I Am OUTRAGED!” Then along comes this dude.....trolling for outrage.

Trump ain’t outed on anything, to believe he is outed on this one is to follow a false narrative. Uninformed people will believe even the stupidest of lies. This is nothing more than fake news as is evidenced by the below article.

This is from the Daily Caller in November 2016

Trump CAN use the Oval Office, the White House confirms, after fears ongoing security upgrades would stop him using the historic room
President-elect Donald Trump assumes office January 20th
Former George W. Bush political guru Karl Rove told Fox News Wednesday that the incoming president won’t get to use the Oval Office for his first year
He cited a major security renovation to install bullet-proof glass and other upgrades
On Thursday, the White House said ongoing ‘security enhancements’ to the White House campus will not keep Trump from working out of the Oval Office after he is sworn in
It’s unclear whether the 45th president would get the boot from the historic office later
The office has a ceremonial role, puts the president right near his staff, and is just 70 yards from the White House residence

President-elect Donald Trump will be able to set up shop inside the Oval Office after he takes the oath of office, the White House is now confirming – despite a claim that a major security upgrade would force him to relinquish use of the historic office for up to a year.

Former George W. Bush advisor Karl Rove said Wednesday that major security upgrades are planned for the ceremonial office and seat of presidential power – with a need to strip the famous office down to its studs.

A White House official told DailyMail.com on Thursday that reports about renovations are ‘not correct.’

‘As we have previously acknowledged, there are a number of security enhancements being made to the White House campus on an ongoing basis. We cannot comment on the particulars of those measures, but they will not impede President-elect Trump’s ability to work out of the Oval Office when he assumes the presidency,’ said the official.

A spokeswoman for the General Services Administration, asked for comment on Wednesday, directed inquiries to the White House on Thursday. The White House had no immediate comment on the matter on Wednesday. President Obama is currently on an overseas trip.

The Secret Service directed requests for comment to the White House.

I posted the CNN video, and I also posted several Trump quotes. It appears to me to valid and truth.

As a conservative, I want the truth. And if it is against me I will truthfully evaluate it.

For example, I was all against Syrian refugees but when the vid of the Syrian said we don’t want to leave our country it opened my eyes that the US was on the wrong path.

My view is face the truths, vet them. And then proceed. And yes, sometimes the truth is sour.

CNN’s hand wringing and playing gotcha is hardly news. It is another desperate, failed, smear attempt.

The President changed his mind. Period.

Waiting with baited breath for CNN’s next big scoop.
