I’m OK with the death penalty for people who falsely accuse innocent people of crimes.
Don't get carried away. I think it's serious enough to warrant some substantial, solid prison time, but let's tone down the death penalty.
False witness undermines a criminal justice system to the point of being a joke. It should be no laughing matter. The penalties for such are far too lenient. And when they are committed by a "privileged" so-called "protected minority," the penalty should be double.
