Wiretapping is no longer performed. It’s all done at the switchboard in New Jersey at the Verizon switchboard which handles all surveillance on the East Coast. The Feds get a separate tap of all phones they want to surveil. They don’t gotta hook up any wires at the victim’s site.

Surveillance technology is overwhelming the entire United States. There is no longer any area that governments Federal and State) do not penetrate at will no matter what the Constitution or Bill of Rights or courts say.

Surveillance ranges from massive collection of all phone and e-mail communications to collection of all license plates, tax records, and public records, across the US. The credit card data base and the Amazon data base alone cover every one and every thing.

All this collected surveillance can then be easily sorted by "target" in the massive high speed computer facilities (measured in acres, and soon in square miles of such facilities) which then can be sorted out against individuals and groups that any government has an interest in. Surveillance is so enormous that it makes terms like "warrant" a joke. There is no privacy left.

You just never think about what is being done to you.
