Do you have a problem with destroying ISIS?
And, get the hell over the bombing. It is a worthy objective to stop the use of chemical weapons.
Just can’t let it go can you, take a breath and look where some of Trumps most ardent support is coming from.
A voice in the wilderness.
So many people in power seem to have learned so little from the catastrophe in Iraq.
These people are not ready for western style democracy.
Knocking a strong man out of power leaves total chaos.
It’s easy to be a back bencher and lay down markers so if things go to hell, you keep your hands clean.
What so many are missing is that Trump doesn’t have and doesn’t need to have a detailed plan to install a specific someone as a replacement for Assad. His approach will be to push the Russians and the Syrians to do it.
As for vision, Trump has a clearer vision than any president, at least, since Reagan.
A vision and a plan are two different things. A vision is knowing where things ought to be, and Trump’s style is not to let plans get in the way. He will continue to watch for opportunities that move things closer to his vision and will likely not let himself get bogged down in laying out a specific roadmap.
He will continue to be criticized for lack of a specific plan, but the only fair way to judge him will be the results he gets. I’m still very optimistic he will accomplish great things.
“Please tell us.”
Nah, it’s more fun just to read what you make up.
I was a Cruz guy all through the primaries. Trump got the nomination, not Cruz. We have what we have, and he's a damn sight better than Hildebeeste even on his worst possible day. Be glad when he gets things right ... and let him know. Let him know when he gets it wrong, too, and be glad we have a President who might actually listen to us.
Shoulda woulda coulda doesn't do any good.
Psychopathic Cruz-hate doesn’t do any good, either.
In all likelihood Putin will choose Assad’s successor, not us.
Both of your comments were spot on.
“...Sadly, he (Cruz) has no competition to primary him....”

Well, I’m sure you, your Tuesday Group compadres, and your new globalist friends can find & finance a challenger.
Maybe we should try this next time around. Its just barely three years away
If Syria collapses ala Iraq and Libya, it’ll be a great base to launch strikes against Israel indefinitely. And since the hodgepodge of jihadis will not compose a military force it will by almost impossible for Israel to do anything. Israel can expect bio/chem/radioactive strikes whenever various jihadi factions decide to launch a bigger and better and more deadly strike. Hey, but at least no Assad. No state actors is what’s been pushed for and that’s what you’ll have. And with the multicultural West there’ll be no one left to kvetch to. Enjoy.
Was there one of those? Seems to me the best & smartest man won.
It's not good, not good at all, that President Trump seems to be falling in line with the globalist vision.
Pathetic
I don’t know what the strategy is here with Assad, ISIS, Syria and the Russians. There’s a lot of moving pieces.
“Sadly, he has no competition to primary him. Turn out for his primary will be much lower, given his mask has slipped, to somewhere around his ankles.”
If someone tries to primary Cruz out, the tea party conservatives will crush his opposition like a cockroach just like when other RINOs tried to do so before, because Ted Cruz is one of the very few conservatives we have left representing us in Washington.
That used to mean something around here.
He also is being very supportive of Trump even if the two don’t always see eye to eye.
The Cruz attacks are getting real old.
Good post.
