Wouldn’t such actions against North Korea result in restarting the Korean War??

Not as long as they stay out of South Korea. A surgical strike to take out their nuclear capability wouldn't start a war unless they can fight a Pacific war in retaliation.

It never stopped. I had a couple of cousins over there even during Ike as potus, and crap from the NK was constant.

Wouldnt such actions against North Korea result in restarting the Korean War??With any other President and CIC than Trump, yes.
This, however, is going to be the honest to goodness beginning of the end of the Korean War. After more than 65 endless years of war.
The UN is going to be beside itself.

The first one ended in a draw, a new one would would result in the complete annihilation of NK........
I don't think China would do anything, they're too entrenched in trade with the US these days. NK to China is nothing more than an embarrassing dumbass neighbor who deserves to get his butt kicked.......Besides, a total regime change in NK could possibly be an economic windfall for China. One only has to look at pictures of China's city of Dandong and NK's Sinuiju, divided by the Yalu River to see the striking differences between both countries.

Still unclear why this is our problem. Shouldn't this be a Japan-South Korean. Give Japan and South Korea whatever assistance they need from us, but ultimately their problem.
