“after being confirmed by the Senate last week following a controversial rule-change by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to avoid a Democratic filibuster.
Nothing ‘controversial’ about Harry Reid nuking the filibuster for circuit court judges in 2013, huh Yahoo?”

The fact is, Harry Reid made it very clear at the time that he understood his rule would set a precedent for SCOTUS nominees and that he completely intended for it to.

“We still need to discover who murdered Justice Scalia.”

Some alleged freepers are quite satisfied with Big Media’s report on this.

“A heart attack waiting to happen”, saw that this morning, can’t remember from whom. Also saw the same words posted here after Breitbart was breitbarted.

My vote actually mattered — for a change. Thank you Donald J. Trump for keeping your word.

I was struck by the name "Gorsuch" and from whence it came.

The name is English, from the hamlet "Gorsuch, Lancashire". Earlier, the hamlet's name was "Gosefordsich" from the Old English "Gosford" (goose ford or 'crossing') and "sich" (small stream).

As for the new Justice's name from his mother's side....it's pure Irish.

The filibuster has/had never been used for Supreme Court nominees. I believe its original intention was to be used for legislation. The Dems, as usual, perverted the intention in 2003 by suggesting the possibility to keep a George W. Bush nomination of off the Supreme court (Gonzales?).

Good, another reason that shows that this is all on the dems.

Nothing constitutional about filibustering, but of course the House and Senate can make their own rule.

Thanks for the info

All because they were sure Hillary would win the election because of the massive voter fraud.

This was lauded by of course all the dems from the top elite down to the dead dem voters.

And helped along by the eGOP starting at the top with “Poppy” Bush.

He was so sure that their fraud was working that he mesaaged Hillary on election eve that the fix was in.

Hillary hugged Chelsea while rapist sexual harasser impeached ex president Bill Clinton (won election with the help of sacks of money from Chins, highly against the law) jumped up and down like a little girl at a Justin Beiber concert

Tom Bergeron?! LOL! Maybe a little...

This really is monumental.

I’m so proud of our President.

I’ve never seen ANY work harder or accomplish so much in such a short period of time after taking office.

Yeah, I’m happy!!

Yes, the Court was a primary reason I supported President Trump. Had some stupid people around me who could not get that in their heads....my respect for their views have dropped dramatically.

Now lets pray that Goresuch doesn’t become another Anthony Kennedy.

Right. I'd like to see him hanging out with Thomas and Alito.
