Neil Gorsuch was sworn in Monday as the newest member of the Supreme Court, filling the vacancy left by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia after being confirmed by the Senate last week following a controversial rule-change by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to avoid a Democratic filibuster.
Gorsuch took took separate constitutional and judicial oaths — the latter at a public swearing-in ceremony at the White House Rose Garden — to become the nation’s 113th justice.

Great! We caught back up to where we were after the devastating loss of Justice Scalia. Hopefully we can get some new Constitutional Justices soon - for America’s sake!
Bravo, is right! And, again, thank God Trump won. Had HRC won, we would have watched this morning someone sworn in who would have set this country on a trajectory from which there would b no recovery.

This was one of my top 5 reasons for voting for Trump. Thanks you Mr. President! Well, actually I decided to vote for Trump regardless but SCOTUS was one of my major concerns.

Yeah, they can go to town now. I hope they go all in-their-face with restrictions, because we know they’re perfectly legal, but we weren’t sure we had a court that would back us up. Sad.
Everything this is controversial. Even when President Trump goes to the can it is controversial.

Bitch about Syria all you want (I sure do) but this is one of the big things we elected Trump to do. He’s repealed several Obama executive orders, brought some jobs back, and given us a decent supreme court justice that has actually read the constitution. All, things worth celebrating.
Now lets pray that Goresuch doesn’t become another Anthony Kennedy.

We still need to discover who murdered Justice Scalia.
The Reid Rule was controversial when the dems did it a few years ago.
All that was done now was an extension of the Reid Rule to include when voting on Supreme Justice votes.
This is the only thing I have ever seen that Reid was responsible for that turned out good for our Constitutional Republic.
The libtards are NOT thinking they have nothing they can do about the supreme court for the next 30 years, they will simply do what they did to Scalia.
