I just bought a cheap used composite baseball bat, kevlar and graphite, drilled a 3/16ths hole in the end and filled it with a mix of some spare lead birdshot and silica beads i use for sand blasting, put a pop rivet in the hole.

Even if they find the thug, it Doesn’t matter. The very most he will receive as punishment is a few hours in the lockup. Hell the DA most likely will not even file charges on a petty infraction like this..

Even if the DA files Charges and he pleads guilty, he will spend NO MORE than 24 hours in Jail and upon release he will be Protected as an Illegal Alien in Sanctuary, given a Home, Free Utilities, Cable, Cell Phone, an exemption from All driving Laws, and his 5 kids get Free Education and Healthcare.
