To all of you who are against what Trump ordered tonight: Buck up!! I have lived through several Presidents... tonight Trump made our country great again!!!

Being chicken never won anything. Whether we were attacked or not... the rebels in Syria was... and the reason that area is so out of control, is OBAMA! He played chicken for 8 years and this is what happens... the evil runs rampant!

If you were Trump supporters and now are not... let me set the record straight... he showed leadership... he was not afraid to do what had to be done... he is strong.. he is not scared of his shadow.

President Truman called for the bombs to be dropped on Japan... it had to be one of the most difficult decisions a President ever made. He did it to stop the spread of the war from Europe to the Pacific... and to save our soldiers who were war weary and so many had been killed. He did it against a strong Japan, who would not surrender. It took 2 before they surrendered. If WWII had been fought with cameras and snowflakes, we would not be a free country today.

If we did nothing about aggression, it would be on our doorstep eventually.. somewhere along the way to that aggression, we have to stop it. We are America... there is not another country... we are the leaders and we are the power that makes the world a livable place... it has been vacant under obama... and look at the mess over there!

It takes strength.. it takes will power... it takes military who are in it to do what the Commander in Chief tells them to do... Today we have one who makes me proud.. he is a fighter and we need so much cleaning up after 8 years of a street organizer who didn’t have a clue! His weakness set the middle east on edge and a mess... nothing speaks like America! with a strong military and a President who takes care of his people! Give him a salute... poor shep... he’s scared silly... he wants to “help the illegals who want to come here.. but does not want to fight against what syria did to it’s own people.” He picks doing what he can expound on, but not be active in!

I think that may be right. My point is that if our intel services are any good than they should have known about the movement via satellite and other sources. Since the gubmint started that war anyways my conclusion is that either our intel services are not that good or elements in our gubmint just like starting wars. Either option is not good.

“””Trump is in Florida for a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinpeng. Defense Secretary James Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and national security adviser H.R. McMaster traveled to Florida with him.
Defense Secretary James Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and national security adviser H.R. McMaster traveled to Florida with Trump. In Washington, Vice President Mike Pence returned to the White House after having gone home for dinner Thursday evening.”””

Mattis, McMaster, Tillerson, President Trump and Vice President Pence all together know way more than me so I’ll withhold judgement.

Personally I think this was a message to many people/countries. This bombing is nothing worse than any other President has done at times but doing something like this so early into a presidency makes quite a statement. Don’t mess with this one!

I hope they get less obvious. They’re a joke and less entertaining.

I’m still glad he won and many other people I know are still happy he won. I feel a bit sorry for the so called “conservative” people who still follow the media narrative when it suits their purpose.

I saw a post that claimed Trump was punked or something and it’s hilarious and another post that claimed Trump was Soros’ bitch or something. Astounding. And these people actually think they are posting something honest or that others will believe what they post. I guess some will (as I’ve seen on TV sites the paid trolls that promote the liberal agenda). I worry for this country as the IQ level decreases as the entitlement level increases.

I consider myself part of Trump's Base. After eight years of Obama’s foreign policy failures, I was wondering how to recoup the losses. Today, Trump's actions put a stop to Obama’s/America's feckless foreign policy. It was decisive. It was clean. It shouted out, “America is back. ISIS beware, we are gunning for you. Russia, play time is over, the adults are back in town”.

"My point is that if our intel services are any good than they should have known about the movement via satellite and other sources. "

With what's been going on in the intelligence community these days, I'm now wondering what they did, or didn't do when G.W. Bush was in office.

"Getting a little concerned Wendle might suffer a stroke."

Wendle is a stroke. By the way, the term Wendle is slang for penis.

“Umm, actually that’s not quite correct. It was Hillary and Obama that took out Kaddafi and destabilized the middle east. All to scoff his gold and transfer his weapons to Obamas muslim brotherhood butt buddies. All without a Declaration of war I may add. That was in 2013, it is now 2017. The war powers act only authorizes 90 days and by my math we are slightly beyond that.”

Hear Hear!

I am as big a Trumper as is on this site. However, I don’t like this. Is there any Congressional approval of first Hussein’s actions and two Trump’s.

Call me old fashioned but I prefer proper lines of authority be followed particularly when war is involved.

So, following your thoughts, who is left in power in Syria? I’m sure you can see where I’m heading...

Trump wanted input he could totally trust, knowing how infiltrated the Intelligence agencies and Defense Dept are.
He directed Jarred to look into what he wanted looked into knowing the flim-falm job which can come from those sources.

Japan attacked us and Germany declared war in us. Both nations were real threats to our nation. Syria is no threat whatsoever. Assad is no gem, but he is not a supporter of Islamic terrorism and his regime tolerates Christians. The same cannot be said about his opponents. The Syrian civil war is not our business.

Obama dropped 12,192 bombs on Syria in 2016. I say, what's a few more?

There are those here who get hysterical over everything, who spread nothing but pessimism and defeatism. Haven’t you noticed the same names doing the same thing on almost any thread?

Uhm, Ok.

Well, this thing called The War Powers Resolution, requires the President to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30-day withdrawal period, without a Congressional authorization for use of military force (AUMF) or a declaration of war by the United States. The resolution was passed by two-thirds of Congress, overriding a presidential veto.

It provides that the U.S. President can send U.S. Armed Forces into action abroad only by declaration of war by Congress, “statutory authorization,” or in case of “a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.”

If we were to pull a Brill Crinton like Kosovo would anyone care?

Personally, I don’t care if Asaad drops his people in woodchipers....en masse...
