Must beg to differ here. The major reason the left has been “sucking up” to the minorities for the last 50 years is for a voting base. California is even risking the loss of federal funds to protect illegals so they can get the under motor-voter and or get them a voting card so they can vote lib. I was a child in California when this started.
And if you can tell me how they got the black vote when they did everything to hold them back since the Africans were first brought to the US for slave labor, you’re good. They didn’t start catering to them until they took credit for the civil rights act in the mid 60’s. And southern democrats were adamantly against them but took credit for employment pushing and affirmative action programs so it appeared to be their action that got it done. Forget about the blue laws, or the litany test they had to stop the blacks from voting. But did they ever go the other way when they found out about the use of the races.
And blacks were available due to their earlier mistreatment along with the Mexicans and their economy problems in their homeland. And my Lord are they both used a lot!!
