In Europe, Muslims have greater freedom to follow their faith than Christians do, the head of an anti-discrimination group has said. Martin Kugler, Austrian historian and founder of the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe, said Christians were being marginalised on the continent while Muslims are treated much more carefully.
Speaking to ACI Prensa, the Spanish edition of the Catholic News Agency, Mr. Kugler accused Europe’s elites of pressuring Christians into hiding their faith while permitting Muslims to display theirs.
Europe has witnessed a secularist offensive, he added, but politicians have different criteria in dealing with Christians and Muslims, permitting the Islamic veil while trying to removing crosses from public places.
He cited the example of air hostesses and nurses disciplined, or sometimes even fired, for wearing small crosses, or attempts to remove nativity scenes from public places.

Not phooey, not in my experience. Muslims in Europe can be openly faithful and are. Everyone accepts it. In northern Europe especially openly faithful Christians are shamed as superstitious fools, as if they said they were going to be trying to talk to ghosts later that evening. The zeitgeist in Europe is that faith is not about God but rather living a good life of liberal values, signaling you have so much tolerance and virtue, and being connected to “the universe” or some such thing. It’s certainly not about being judged by God. In southern Europe it’s less frowned upon but that’s part of why the northerners seem to hold the south in such contempt, socially speaking.
Hmm, the last great war will be China against the Muslim west?
Nobody would have believed that plot line in 1970.
Way to go Europe! Time for another mass slaughter? They will probably just let the Muslims do it for them. Europeans are brain washed enough to march freely into the ovens as long as it makes the Muslims happy.
