“Raul Grijalva of Arizona is a Marxist. He is also a very stupid individual who manages to be reelected thanks to Arizona gerrymandering.”
Another reason for term limits.

They should have come up with this idea a couple days sooner. Could have run a double feature:

So their idea to combat Global Warming is to start fires? Irony is very ironic.

Democratic Reps. Bobby Scott of the Committee on Education, Raúl M. Grijalva of the Committee on Natural Resources, and Eddie Bernice Johnson of the Committee on Science, Space and Technology all issued a statement telling teachers to trash the book.We live in interesting times; and, yes, history's habit of repeating itself is alive and well.
Scott... Grijalva... Johnson... Solid americans. I need to learn more about these intellectual science giants.
Telling teachers to trash books? How third grade bolshevik of them.
I don't know if that was their intention but realizing that these are American citizens (CINOs?) , elected by fellow Americans to represent them made the hair on my arms stand on end...
Freakin' unbelievable!

You dont have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them. After 16 years of FR, if there is one thing of which I'm certain it's that overwhelmingly, Freepers are readers.
I wouldn't be here otherwise.
Except for our national current version of big brother, trolls, Soros/Hillary/Obama progressives and their lingering bureaucracy, that is, and we can throw in the barely literate sub 75 IQ types.

They start by burning books, and end by burning people.
