As Susan Rice faces growing calls to testify under oath, the former Obama administration official now accused of ordering the unmasking of Trump officials under surveillance is suggesting that she never did so for political purposes, and that it is sometimes "necessary" for investigative purposes.
Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, a member of both the Senate Judiciary and Select Committee on Intelligence, suggested in a tweet earlier Tuesday that Rice "needs to testify under oath."

If they have the good on Rice, I would prefer congress stay out of it. Having her plead the 5th in a committee hearing would be pure TV gold. I just don’t want congress mucking it up somehow.
There is nothing going to be done about this, and i am not trying to be sensational.
How do we know??? Because if there was anything going to be done, we would have first heard about it on breaking news that Susan Rice had been indicted or arrested. Instead, we heard about it from a leak, not a word from the DOJ, and they are now calling for a Congressional hearing with Susan Rice as “witness” . This will go nowhere.
Try since 2011. Just wait for it...
