The progressives’ Penny Dreadful about Donald Trump being put in the White House by Vladimir Putin is beginning to unravel.
On March 2, Evelyn Farkas, a former deputy secretary of defense in the Obama administration, revealed on MSNBC that Obama officials were surveilling the Trump campaign. Farkas resigned from her government post in September 2015 to become the senior foreign policy advisor for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Farkas stated:
“the Trump folks, if they found out how we knew what we knew about their, the staff, the Trump staff’s dealing with Russians, that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we would no longer have access to that intelligence. So I became very worried, because not enough was coming out into the open, and I knew that there was more…. We have very good intelligence on Russia. So then I had talked to some of my former colleagues, and I knew that they were trying to also help get information to the Hill.”
On March 30 she appeared on MSNBC to claim that what she said was distorted and fake news.
"And on the dark campaign of fake news, you know, that's still ongoing. We see even someone like myself get swept up in all of this. You know, when people like me are speaking on behalf of process, people spin to it suit their needs. And I think it may be that the Russians are behind even such fake news today.”
The Russians may have attempted to interfere in our election. They probably had no more success than the Gulf States, Mexico or the Mossad. Powerful nations, including the U.S., frequently interfere in foreign elections. There were contacts between Trump supporters and the Russians.

This is a fake investigation. They are looking only at Trump people, looking at people who talk to Russians. Remember when they used to say Trump had no international experience or understanding? Of course it turns out the guy and his team are very international.
They are not looking at who have actually done favors for Russia. That would be the Clintons. They are not looking at who is actually in bed with Russia. That would be Podesta and his brother.
They are not looking at who is in bed with Ukraine. That would be Biden. They are not looking at who is in bed with China or Saudi Arabia; that would be half our government.
They are not interested in Muslim Brotherhood penetration of our government which is almost complete.
So when they try to imply that maybe Trump is a Russian spy, what we can really gather from that is he is not owned by China, or Saudi Arabia, and he is not Muslim Brotherhood. And he hasn’t taken $140 million from Russia. Because if any of those things were true, they would be completely uninterested.
Hopefully coming out...along with the Grand Jury indictments.

where is the evidence of “Muslim Brotherhood penetration”? I agree there is penetration into top of the intelligence agencies BUT it did not start in the Obama administration as you may claim. You just identified the wrong agent.

In fact, its one of the interesting things that happened after 911, that MB organizations provided the resumes for our agencies who needed area and language experts.
The Trump-Russia collusion investigation is far worse than just fake. It is a fishing expedition to find any dirt on Trump, no matter how flimsy.
It does not even have to be wrong doing by Trump. Anything they can use to slander him, hurt his popularity rating, or spin for political damaging news — that is why there is a huge fishing expedition going on. The commie Rats know that if they can just keep the “investigation” going on long enough, something is bound to turn up, no matter how weak.l
So the Russians made Farkas say what she said on March 2, which she is now trying to disavow? Those Russians are remarkably clever.
Obama is on an island at an all male retreat with 50+ other guys. The only thing he is working on is packing fudge.
They are much like global warming, they can do anything.
