Confining Polanski to live in the coming caliphate is icing on the cake.

Well said. What a crazy legal argument to make. Somehow not being allowed back into America, otherwise get arrested and imprisoned, is somehow comparable to actually having done time????

He wants to come back and get a lifetime achievement Oscar and other awards. Various Hollywood idiots over the years have pleaded his case.

The president has no power to welcome him back.

No, but he could, probably would have, pardoned him.

Yea, this was definitely “rape rape.”

Not consensual by any definition of the word.

He drugged her, got her drunk, and she begged him to stop.

That’s pretty unforgivable.

Nope. Presidents can only pardon for federal convictions, not state ones.

Roman...you became infatuated with, drugged and RAPED a 13 year old.

There is no statute of limitations...you were duly convicted going to jail, and you went on the lam.

You step foot in the USA, and that’s where you will go.... San Quentin.

Put him in jail, madd time for escape. No tolerance for life on the run. Rape should have led to execution.

Roman Polanski made what I consider to be one of the best movies in Hollywood history - “Chinatown”. He also drugged and sodomized a 13-year old child. If he ever returns to the US, he should be thrown in prison and made to serve out a sentence appropriate to his horrific crime.

Bet if we halted all visas from Poland, he’d be turned over in hours.

I wonder if the murder of his wife and soon to be born child had anything to do with his deplorable behavior?

Obama would’ve wined and dined him in the White House for a week straight and put him up in the Lincoln bedroom with all the little girls he could possibly want, and dared anyone to come and arrest him.

He’s in his mid 80s. He won’t live long enough to see that.
