I don’t really care when it started; I care that it occurred at all. I’ve been in, or close to, the Intelligence Community for over 40 years and I would’ve never imagined that anyone - Republican or Democrat - would’ve used the assets of the community against a political opponent. That’s something done not just by third world dictatorships, but the very worst of them.
To your point, it appears that Hillary and six of her staff maintained their security clearances after she left. I wonder why...
