I supported the American Health Care Act last Friday because it was the right vote. I didnt begin as a big fan, but I ended up satisfied that America needed this bill to start a process to repair our healthcare system.
Yes, Im a conservative. I pal around with those liberty-loving Freedom Caucus guys. I get better grades on conservative scorecards than I ever received in college. And frankly, if you asked the Speaker, I think hed tell you Im a bit of a right-wing rabble-rouser.
I supported the AHCA, and will continue to support it, because a yes vote is the principled, conservative position.

You were wrong about 2012. ObamaCare isn’t deeply embedded in anything except a shallow grave right now. Premiums are escalating rapidly every year because more and more healthy people are realizing it’s a scam and dropping their coverage.
With the feckless RINOs in Congress and a FC that refuses to engage in messaging and promote what's best for America, we're going to continue to have this circular firing squad while Trump gets bloodied up by partisan Democrat investigations into Russia.
If anyone seriously thinks the federal leviathan was going to slow down or disband you're smoking bath salts.
The Republican Party is a joke
Once I figured out how to get an ObamaCare exemption I stopped giving much of a sh!t about it.
There is not one single specific argument in favor of ahca in Buck’s entire column. Just a general “hey, let’s do what trump wants us to do so it looks like we can do what trump wants us to do!”
No way dude. Once we pass #Swampcare, we have socialized medicine for all time.
Trump: We must fight them (conservatives) in 2018!
Can’t wait to see the convoluted goose-stepping to support amnesty if/when Trump supports it.
Crap. Ryancare was the same disaster as Obamacare in a different wrapping.
Maybe it wasn't? Do we really know? Obamacare came with a lot of promises, too.
That was my point.
AHCA was written by the insurance industry to benefit the insurance industry.
It is a complete sell out by trump and republicans who promised over and over again to relieve the devastating burden on the middle class known as obamacare.
Trump: “We must fight them (conservatives) in 2018!”
Is it fun to make this stuff up? Where’s the tiniest bit of evidence?
Possibly the RINOs should consider whether freedom-loving Americans even accept the word “governing” as what our representatives should do in Washington.
Maybe some folks out here (not me, of course) resent the thought of being “governed” by socialists in patriot costumes, like that smarmy weasel Ryan.
That's because the Republicans are the "other" American Socialist party.
Ready for chipping? :-) Watch Mark Levin’s video on this mess. Ryan-care was a disaster that made things even worse than Obamacare. If it had passed, the Republicans would have gotten all the blame for everything.
What we need is a true free market in health insurance and health care. Government can’t manage a 2-car funeral, let alone health care or education.
