In the age of Fox and the internet, it won’t work this time.
I’m surprised Trump folded on Flynn. I don’t think anyone is folding on Gorsuch.
Why is it so difficult to even see when this a$$wipe is up for reelection. Google or Bing him and it is just endless crap, blah blah blah.
I’m guess he’s within 2 years - maybe. If that is so then he’ll sit on his ass for 2 years and lie and procrastinate and stuff and then might be forced to actually do something. But I’m not holding my breath like he’ll actually make a [ooga booga] rule change or something.
Democrats had a Senate majority against Bork. Bork was forced to gaze at the disgusting duo of Kennedy and Biden throughout his “hearing”. Biden should suffer the rest of his miserable life for the way he treated Bork.
He cannot be because liberal news media has lost too much power. When Bork was up they almost totally controlled the narrative.
“Chuck The Schmuck” Schumer will try to schlong Gorsuch.
Let’s see if McConnell has the guts to nuke Schmucky and push Gorsuch through on 51 votes.
Although we never know for certain how the republican 5th column (like John McCain, Lindsey Graham, etc.) will vote.
Let’s say that one of the female justices passes or retires this year. Don’t replace her. The court will then be at seven, which at one time in the past was the normal size of the court. And the court will be at 4-3 with conservative justices in the lead. Let the DEMs block Gorsuch. Time will naturally put the conservatives on top again.
Gorsuch has been getting borked on Free Republic since his name was announced.
Does Neil Gorsuch’s Liberal Church Matter?

However, multiple reports have pointed out that Gorsuch and his wife attend St. John’s, Boulder a liberal Episcopal church headed by a very liberal, pro-LGBT female rector named Rev. Susan Springer.
Opposition to Gorsuch’s affiliation with St. John’s was voiced even before he was nominated.
Christian conservative activist and lawyer Andy Schlafly, the son of the late pro-life leader Phyllis Schlafly, voiced his concern over the possible nomination of Gorsuch in an email sent in November with the subject line: “veto these Sup. Ct. nominee candidates.”
Schlafly wrote that Gorsuch “probably would NOT be pro-life on the Supreme Court” and included him on his list of “unacceptable nominees.”
“Gorsuch’s Episcopalian church has declared its ‘unequivocal opposition’ to pro-life laws and he has said nothing publicly pro-life,” Schlafly wrote in the email.
Others, including journalist Julia Duin, who previously wrote for the conservative news outlet The Washington Times, have brought up the issue of Gorsuch’s membership at St. John’s.
“Think about that for a moment. If this man is the frightening conservative that some on the Left are already alleging him to be, there’s no way he’d be Episcopalian, much less at a woman-priested church,” Duin wrote. “The Episcopal Church, for anyone who’s not been following religion trends in recent decades, has been careening to the theological and cultural left for years and its membership statistics show it. Thousands have left TEC and joined alternative Anglican churches.”
“A Google search shows there’s an Anglican church in Boulder that the Gorsuch family could be attending if they so desired,” she continued. “So, the fact that the judge and his family has remained at St. John’s says something.
If Gorsuch is on the fence regarding immigrations issues, it would be best for the Democrats to thwart his nomination and then for the Nuclear option to be invoked.
Then, Trump nominates the most sure-bet on immigration from his list and ram him through. Let Gorsuch be on-deck for the replacement of one of the liberal judges.
Before implementation of the “Reid Rule” I would enjoy seeing a rule turning “filibuster” into an active verb. Require Schumer to state he is against the nominee and then spell it out forever if necessary - once he goes off topic, or relinquishes the floor - call the vote.
If Gorsuch was black, the libs would have found a half a dozen women claiming he groped them.
Only if the republicans allow it.
So yes it will probably happen.
Doesn’t seem like the Democrats have anything on him.
