WhatsApp is correct.
If the Brits want the info, they need to get a search warrant from the appropriate authorities.
Anything else might set a precedent that undermines personal privacy and civil rights.
After the search warrant is obtained, though, if WhatsApp does not give up the info or destroys it, they all need to go to jail.
Multinational corporations are destructive to civilization.
When the police state comes, it will be wrapped in the flag of civilian safety.
