A spouse CAN testify against his/her spouse....But they can’t be forced (compelled) to testify.

If I had to bet money, I’d say all of this is for show. The original “marriage”, the pregnancy, the separation, the whole shebang. Everything these people do is meant for the spotlight and has a PR purpose.
Wiener is disgusting. What kind of man his age is interested in a 15 y/o girl? However, I’m willing to give him a break this one time. He especially should not have to go back to Huma - what about the 8th Amendment? I’d give the guy a break and put him in the nicest prison we have available.
Wiener single-handed kept the media and the voters focused on Hillary’s sleaze during the final weekend before the election. He bared the soul of a democrat for all of us to see. That counts for something.
Wiener put himself out there and exposed his own shortcomings for the good of the country. He showed us far more than most of us wanted to see of liberal failings.
Wiener dampened what little enthusiasm there was for Hillary and soiled any vestiges of dignity that the Hillary campaign may have been trying to project. More than anyone other than the two candidates, he is responsible for the election’s happy ending.
With all that, Wiener deserves a cell away from Huma. He deserves a safe prison with a meek cellmate, not one that looks at him the way he looks at a girl entering puberty.
Note: I am a big believer in Christian forgiveness. But even I would not go as far as Huma has gone (and I don’t just mean with Hillary). If the person I married was a serial cheater and had been forgiven three times, and then tried to seduce a 15 y/o online, that would be beyond my limit. I assume God would forgive her, but I would leave that in His hands. I would not be able to. At that point, it would be over.
Some women are fools (as are some men) and stay in marriages with people who don’t respect them or their marriage. Like Huma. And like Hillary. It says plenty about feminist values that they so strongly supported two such weak, troubled and unhappy women.
That and the fact that the last thing they want is for Tony to be in protective custody at an undisclosed location since the NYPD isn't playing ball like the FBI is.
Better that Huma Weiner is there to keep him distracted.

Correct. Perhaps they have enough on each other that they would agree not to testify against the other. Not unlike Bill and Hillary.
