This is why I will cling to Win 7 until my last dying breath.

Also, I quit Win 7 updates back when they tried to force Win 10 on us. Zero problems, McAfee does a good job of keeping me safe.

I said that way back when I had windoze 98, but now have windoze 7.

It gets harder - some must-have app will no longer work, or the PC needs to be replaced, and good deals on new ones come with the latest in microsoft snooping technology in Win 10.

The push for Windows 10 on Windows 7/8 PCs has been halted. You may want to reconsider those missed updates, although Microsoft is notorious for messing up working PCs with their updates.

I ignored the windows 10 update. One day my computer automatically updated, after I had selected no for months.
