aahhh....... rational thought
Politics is the art of the possible
We are now in the process of determining what is possible
Tea Party In Name Only” Seems to be one of the swamp dwellers sucking money from the people under the guise of the tea party. “Sal Russo, principal of Tea Party Express, raked in more than $800,000 during the 2010 election cycle from Tea Party Express for his public relations and media companies” The article calls him a “professional tea partier.” http://www.alternet.org/story/150902/5_professional_tea_partiers%3A_who’s_sucking_the_most_money_from_the_movement
Pass it.. republicans own the failure
Fail it.. Democrats own the failure
I suggest we allow the democrats to own it. Republicans where sent to repeal it. Not put lip stick on a pig.
It doesn’t matter what’s in the bill, all they need is the title and docket number.
Cruz, Paul, Lee and others will get out their cut/paste gear, turn it into a palatable defunding mechanism. But no matter what....that’s exactly, and all this bill can do.
It needs to happen.
Do you want it defunded or not?
(There will be plenty of others to follow)
Let’s give it its proper name. Trump-Ryan care or Ryan-Trump care. Both of those guys have their fingerprints all over this.
It’s a shit bill..
It’s all they will do. Phase 2 and 3 will quickly be forgotten.
Pass it and it’s all your gonna get.
Let’s call this what it really is. Either Trump-Ryan care or Ryan-Trump care. Both of these guys have their fingerprints all over it. Ryan shepherded it. Trump supported, arm twisted and even made a trip to Capital Hill to push passage.
“””Pass it.. republicans own the failure
Fail it.. Democrats own the failure”””
I agree. There are no indications that RyanCare will reduce the amount of money people have to spend on healthcare.
Let the Democrats defend Obamacare costs in the 2018 election cycle.
Let the Republicans say that they would have repealed ObamaCare in 2017 but NO Democrats would join us.
Which campaign slogan resonates better?
Sorry..dont buy your argument.
That’s republican utopia. ..not the reality of Rinorepublic of Ryan
and cruz/lee/paul won’t be part of the committee where the put all the crap back in and remove the stuff cruz/lee/paul put in.
Voting it out of the House hardly qualifies it as "passed". It has to go to the Senate, be amended beyond recognition, and bounce back and forth between the two bodies a few times until it's either destroyed, or turns into something the President will sign (or veto)
Create and pass a bill that works NOW.
Bills seldom pass through that digestive process in their original form.
That may be an accurate judgement.
But the possibility does exist for Phase 2 and Phase 3
to continue to fix it.
Notice I said possibility.
There is no possibility of fixing Obamacare.
And if this vote fails, that is what we will
still have. Full Blown unfixable Obamacare.
wrose, if true and rates go up and people lose coverage democrats can run on “obamacare was cheaper and covered more people!”..
Or fail to pass RyanCare and Full Blown Obamacare is here to stay.
And that won’t be long. Frankly, I think it would be fun to watch.
For me, the only option, EVER, was repeal, followed by some deregulation that improved the private health care industry and health care insurance industry.
“””Sal Russo, principal of Tea Party Express, raked in more than $800,000 during the 2010 election cycle”””
Interesting. So how much money did Sal get from Big Pharma or Aetna to write this commentary?
The administration is putting pressure on conservatives to pass a semi-socialist replacement. It should be putting pressure on Democrats to pass a free-market replacement. Tells you everything you need to know about who this administration is, sadly. I had hopes for Trump but they’re rapidly fading.
That’s not “my argument” it’s the way it is.
And does josh kushners obamacare billion dollar company need this version of ryancare
Do you hate Trumps Supreme Court nominee too?
